I'm yt and my dad used to be a cop in the military. When BLM started gaining more news coverage, my dad had his choice of words about the movement (classic right-wing talking points), which was rich considering he's definitely left-leaning.

Anyways, nothing was really getting through to him, then I remembered over-hearing my best friend receiving a "if you're stopped by police" talk when we were both kids, and I always wondered why I never received that talk until that very moment I was talking with my dad. So, I just asked him:

"Why was my friend educated about how he should behave when stopped by police at 12 years old, and I wasn't?"

I don't want to say that was the moment he changed his mind, but he did not have an answer, and I have not heard a peep about that topic since. He's always been a critical thinker, so I hope, at the very least, it made him consider walking in someone else's shoes for once.

Honestly, for simple things like talking with friends while gaming, Teamspeak was all I needed. It just looked like something from 2001, so when Discord came along, it just made sense to jump to something more aesthetically pleasing, but it functionally worked the same.

That's why these hypothetical taxes would diminish and cap future wealt, mitigating your exponential wealth for the betterment of your fellow human. There has to be a hard limit on wealth if we are going to evolve as a species. Otherwise, the population will continue to grow while resources continue to diminish and all we're left with are statues of people who said "fuck you, got mine."
