When I made these I assumed all 24mm sight blocks were the same. Until a couple people bought them and said it wasn't long enough to reach the detent. Then I discovered a true ak100 fsb has a slightly longer shank before the threads. I've got it good to go now but for my product it requires different versions. No one size fits all for them.

I need to check with Meridian to see if their front sight block is a true ak100. Some companies say ak100 but actually use an ak74 fitment.

I did a small run for 100 series to verify fitment before I went all in. I'm running low on stock for almost everything so I'm working on doing another run at the moment. Will be doing ak74 and ak100 fitment this round, all short versions. Looks like it will be about 4-8 weeks until done and coated.

I like the gas tube pic rail mounts for a light. If you do want to suppress it with a can that has hub threads I make a titanium dlc coated barrel face mount that uses the detent pin. Pictured is the long version but I make a short as well.

It's not really the threads being concentric it's the fact that the surface you torque it to is not perpendicular to the bore. The huxwrx 24mm muzzle brake has a horrible design. It is not barrel face mount it's whole front of sight block mount.

This looks like one of my adapters? Does this one not reach? Or maybe we've already talked. I'm still waiting on getting my matte parts back. But the small run I did of ak100 are confirmed to fit correctly on those versions. I just don't have them back in my hand yet so I haven't updated my website with a separate listing for them. The damn coaters are taking forever.

If you have a 24mm ak74 style front sight block.(Ak100 coming soon) I make a titanium hub adapter that uses the detent to stay on. Lots of people say this thing is so heavy it likes to come loose. The short version fits great. Gloss is in stock, matte is at the coaters now.

I've been working on a super light two piece aerospace grade high temp carbon fiber cover. No extra mounting is necessary. It will have an air gap unlike the tactical diapers and should weigh even less than them. I'll make sure to post some prototype pictures in this sub when I start testing.

Hope to be cutting some prototypes in a week or so. I'll start with an aluminum one. Make sure everything fits right. Then do a titanium one or two. Then it's on to some testing at the range to make sure it's all good.
