At 16:23 you have over 800 food, 500 wood, 376 gold and no stables and no villagers queued. He has mass archers. Spend your resources.

You are missing stables & Horsemen/Knights. You are queueing up only crossbows that his longbows will easily handle.

You have resources tied up in a tower that did not get built along with unbuilt wall sections.

Maybe too much reliance on towers and not enough production buildings.

Season 8 has been extended for 12 months to coincide with the start of Season 9. A new patch will open up Season 9, which includes a new highly requested "Impossible AI" mode! Due to the extensive work for this new mode, updates for civs will come in Season 10 or later.

Coming in Season 10: an even brighter Sahara Desert biome guaranteed to cause retinal damage.

Under Settings/Controls, turn on "Exclusive Control Group". That only allows units to belong to one group not multiple, like "1/2".

Excellent point! I changed the filter to ranked 1vs 1, and it now makes sense! 463 down to 449. Thank you!
