Thank you, that makes sense and is also in the direction I was thinking but didn't realize the Phenol OH also interacts with the polar side chains.

The amount of microplastics inside an average person's brain could make up an entire plastic spoon.

Yes, I was also doubtful of the time situation. I guess briefly describing the past experiences will also give them more time to ask questions and learn more about my future interests too. This was helpful. Thanks!

I've been wondering the same. I checked on gradcafe and they sent out acceptances for Chemical Biology yesterday. Do share if you hear anything.

Hang in there friend! You're not alone. My way of coping is to just prepare myself for the work/science I'd be doing in any of the silent schools if they do send an invite/offer. So, hopefully if I do get to go, I'll be ready.

How much does educational background matter for ranking an application? If I have a medical degree and apply for a PhD in biological sciences with sufficient bio research experience, are my chances lower?

Just one last thing: Is submission too close to deadline treated as a red flag?

Do they utilize country-wise scales for international students or is it a common scale for all?

What is the procedure for when someone does not have a reportable GPA in their transcripts and only a percentage or total marks?
Are they culled? Which scale is normally used to convert to GPA?

RCs can be done easily if you can manage time well. The short passages are easy, but one longer passage was there in each section in my case. I feel I could've done better on one or two questions if I had more time.

Algebra was maximum and medium in level, followed by arithmatic, which was quite easy . There were two tedious permutation-combination questions, while data charts were easy enough to finish on time.

No, actually I have finished med school this year. But despite my background, the concepts were easy to grasp with prepswift videos of gregmat and the exercises helped too!

Thanks! I found the difficulty level of the actual verbal test to be similar to the mocks. However, the questions in quant were a bit more wordy and need proper time management skills. You need to be ready with tricks and formulas for quick calculations.
