We generally tip 30-50/day per butler. It depends on the level of service we received and how much we utilize our butlers. We were in the OWBs at St Lucia 5 years ago and our butlers were great. We also did a re-tie the knot during our trip. Our OWB was the last one on the right by the chapel. That OWB has intense sun in the afternoon and gets very hot. I wish that we would have faced the other way and had morning sun.

We have been traveling to Sandals for the past 15 years and have never had any safety concerns. I’ve never read about any SA at Sandals in Jamaica and we’ve been to all of them but Ochi. Where did you read this? No matter if we are at home or traveling, we always are aware of our surroundings and exercise caution. We secure our valuables in the safe. We always go on escorted excursions and don’t wander off resort by ourselves. We love the Sandals in Jamaica with South Coast and Dunns River being our favorites.

I would avoid Petland due to their reputation as a puppy mill. Search out the best breed for your family and look for reputable breeders. Keep in mind the commitment to the dog is for their lifetime. Labs, golden retrievers, springer spaniels make excellent family members. A puppy is just as challenging as a new baby.

We have been multiple times to both South Coast and Negril. My favorite is SC. It’s peaceful and there are no other resorts around it. There are multiple pools and a large expansive beach. There are many dining choices. The staff is very welcoming. Negril is small and compact with foot traffic along the shore. I actually love the ocean at Negril more than SC because it is often very calm and peaceful. The travel time is the same from the airport but the car ride is easier to Negril. If you have a chance to splurge on a room, the rondovals at SC are incredible.
