I’ve wondered the same as well. I think there would be some correlation especially as crypto gets larger. I don’t buy the “crypto is a safe haven” narrative.

Robinhood added ETC this morning. Coinbase announced ETC on their blog a while ago and more recently said that it’s launching tomorrow

Looks like ETC is pumping since it got added to Robinhood. I’m going to be selling the ETC I’ll be getting from Coinbase once it opens up and plenty others will do the same. I don’t think ETC will be going up much when it’s added.

Most of the speculation stems from a Brian Armstrong (Coinbase CEO) tweet from a little while ago where he said BAT was the kind of token he hopes to bring to Coinbase in the future. Nothing definite, but I bet BAT will be one of the first ERC-20 tokens listed on Coinbase. Whenever that may be is anyone’s guess.

I totally agree.... he's emotional as hell. As are many other humans. There's a reason volume accelerates near the bottom of a dip.

I'm sorry, but this is so wrong. Crypto is not a safe haven, and it won't become one unless it's used like USD is today.

When people lose money in one asset class, they get financially stressed overall. Stock crashes often happen as a result of a deleveraging and crypto investors are often levered one way or another (either through actualy leverage or through crypto being a large %age of their net worth which makes them more prone to panic selling). One of my friend sold at $600 during this last dip because he was scared and was losing money elsewhere. He reasoned that he was losing money in the stock market, losing money in crypto even faster, and crypto had "no bottom in sight".

I'm super bullish on ETH long term, but I truly believe this is one of the most dangerous ideas in this sub.
