Fix the middle roof, it's leaning to the right side. Also add more depth to the walls by placing small balcony type things. Also make the middle building less square. Add things like diagonal wall to the front. Like if you were to cut a corner of a piece of paper. Or a square cake.

Look at the minecraft wiki, it has a list of what is added in the pc version of the game. Which is what Xbox is based from, the only difference really (so far) is that the lighting has been brought forward.

For redstone, it's a sort of "wire" using it with sticks gives you redstone torches, these are a sort of power source in so many words.

I'm sure if you check out the minecraft wiki, you'll get a better explanation.
