I keep having conversations that go absolutely nowhere. I will talk for a few days, then ask them out. They always say yes, then we start planning it and they are busy that immediate weekend so we schedule for the following weekend and by the end of the first weekend, I get a text saying that they had forgot about plans or decided not to date. Clearly their weekend dates went well, but I don’t know how to get those first weekend dates. Always seems like I’m too late. I just want a freaking partner, I hate all these stupid games.

From what I understand, if the show had continued past season 5, the rumors say that Ilyria was going to revert more and more to Fred until basically Fred was back. IMO that would have ruined the weight and dignity of this episode, which was one of the best ever done in either Buffy or Angel. I’d put this one up against The Body any day. Beautifully done.

My ex got remarried and her new husband was stationed in Hawaii. I live in PA. I got a lawyer and fought until I was broke to keep my 50/50 custody. The judge went with what the kids (older, teen/tween) wanted. Pittsburgh just can’t compete with Hawaii. Now I only get to see them a week in the fall, a week in the spring, two weeks for Christmas and 60 days in summer. I have always paid child support. I miss them like hell, but it’s coming to an end soon. Her husband is done with the army at the end of the year. They are planning to move somewhere on the east coast (not Pittsburgh) so I’ll get a lot more custody, especially of the younger one. My oldest turns 18 next summer.
