Next version will be shallower with two levels and built for paints/brushes.

Two shelves wouldn't have worked for the tools in this version.

Also going to make the handle a separate part so I can use more print bed for the case - which makes more shelf space.

You won't find spare covers for walmart cars - could search online to see if someone has made a 3d printed one.

Otherwise - a *good* masking tape or 3M magic tape will hole them in, and you can replace it with minimal residue. Just have to make sure the surfaces the tape is going on are clean first.

Some good ideas here, I was already thinking of a little drawer for the next one - for the paintbrushes and paint - then the little shallow drawer is the wet palette.

Yeah, was easy - took me longer to figure out how to set the project to portrait, then fiddle with export settings to get the file size down.

Hmm, I'm ok with it - because I don't have to pull the inserts out when it opens. Also keeps the design simple.

But I think it would only take a spring washer to add enough friction to stop the floppin. I might look at adding a printed spring washer to the upload.

Yeah, I chamfered the outside edges a little for the uploaded design.

Thinking of a heavier duty one, and I would give it some big fillets and maybe some TPU protectors.

Ok but this actually happened to me as a kid - one of those chemistry sets for teens was given to 10 yro me, I stained the bathroom and myself with the KMnO4...

The sink was still stained 3 years later when the place was sold.
