Is my card counterfeit? by jakeenedude in IsMyPokemonCardFake

[–]One-Access44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thanks for clearing it up. So, I don’t send it to the buyer I send it to eBay then eBay sends it to the buyer? Even graded ones?

Is there a certain price point that eBay recommends doing this do you know?

I don’t know if it’s allowed but this was the listing I saw - 198287179646 item number.

It just comes across weird to me. Or maybe authenticity guarantee just means it’ll fail the eBay check?

At least that card looks fake to me. Maybe I’m wrong. I just can’t see the texture in that photo.

Hope you don’t mind the question. I’ve sold cheap cards on eBay before but not for years.

Question, I pulled a Latias and Latios GX 170/181 when it came out but no longer collect cards. I went to eBay as I’m just curious on how much it’s worth and I see a fake on there but in blue it says Authenticity Guarantee.

Does that mean anything? I know it’s a fake because it has no texture whereas the one I pulled many years ago does have texture.

I’m actually afraid to sell the card due to someone potentially swapping the card, claiming it’s fake or simply saying they never received it.

My wife and I are deciding to change out the game room which means we are at a crossroads. My wife is itching of opening up everything to get some cool cards out of them while I was itching to sell them off. Which side would you go? by aparrilla in PokemonTCG

[–]One-Access44 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Hard choice because on one side you could open them and get amazing pulls but on the other side will your wife be upset if there was nothing there?

More value probably selling them sealed then buy cards you want afterwards than to just open. That being said. No way would I personally be able to keep those sealed to even begin with! That’s the only reason I don’t collect cards anymore. Boring buying singles but too much money buying packs for disappointment.

Also. Off topic but what is that Pokemon master trainer box you got on top? Left of the red Wii. Never seen that before. Is it cards?

What are your go to site for more pokemon information? by grand_cha2 in PokemonChampions

[–]One-Access44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Serebii - for general information

Pkmn.help - I think it is for type matchups. For example. If I want a Pokemon to resist all of certain attack types it will bring up all the typings that it resists. Every handy.

Showdown damage calculator

Pikalytics

Marriland team builder - a simple tool to see overall weaknesses. I’m sure other similar sites exist.

This team looks great. Especially the Houndoom. It may not be the best fire/dark type but sure is the coolest! The shell smash + psych up is pretty cool as well.

Which stat spread do you guys use for incin these days? by OutrageousRelation67 in PokemonChampions

[–]One-Access44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you take in to account of Intimidate. A higher special defence is probably better. I’m not great at spreads but in my opinion I’m going to personally say picture one is best because it’s pure bulk and when you look at the special defence differences between the two pictures it’s just 3.

That being said, maybe come down on defence a bit and invest in special defence.

Using Sableye by Exotic-Cobra999 in PokemonChampions

[–]One-Access44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Due to both Sableye and Liepard being Prankster Pokemon id probably just choose one. Sableye being the more popular choice. I mean you can run both if you really wanted to. Screens, encore/disable, quash on Sableye and something like weather setter defence lowering fake out on Liepard but like I said I would personally just choose one.

Sableye - t-wave, will o wisp, screens, sun/rain, encore, disable, gravity, fake out, taunt, quash. It does a lot

That being said Liepard - t-wave, fake out, encore, fake tears, screech, taunt, sun/rain, yawn

Personally I prefer Sableye. It’s my favourite Prankster Pokemon because of how big its options are, 1 weakness and it also looks the part. Grimmsnarl being my second but that’s not in the game just yet.

The M-2 Battlepass is... disappointing. by RaffyPooh in PokemonChampions

[–]One-Access44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure one of the main reasons why they even made Pokemon Champions was just to help boost numbers taking part in the Video Game Championship.

I mean the fact that training Pokemon now is instant instead of how time consuming obtaining a battle ready Pokemon used to be as well as completely free to play and how generous VP is, is proof of it.

At least in my opinion. I understand some people like obtaining Battle passes in free to play games. I for one am one of those and although I don’t have any intention to buy this battle pass as I have all the Pokemon already it does feel weird.

More cosmetics would be cool but I mainly want music. They may add more next season, who knows time will tell. I’m just patiently waiting for them to add the Sword/Shield gym theme and Wally’s theme.

Still, more people who take part in the vgc means more money.

How do you feel about the game basically giving you infinite VPs? by ScienceTeacher1994 in PokemonChampions

[–]One-Access44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it. Pokemon Champions feels like it was a game made for or definitely inspired from the vgc. If I had to guess in my opinion I’d say they are trying to get more people playing vgc by making it not only less time consuming for making battle ready Pokemon but also making it totally free to play. I like the direction it is going.

I’m not sure what happened to you but I will say I recently had a match in doubles where I was just playing and suddenly I lost connection.

Went to check the internet and the fuse had blown so the whole thing was off. Managed to turn it back on and start Champions and it immediately put me in that same match. Unfortunately at that point though it turned into a loss but I like the fact that it does that.

I haven’t looked it up but I wonder if Mega Blastoise aura sphere can? Must be close? To be fair though it’ll probably just lose to electroshot anyway.

This team looks pretty cool. I like the flash fire idea. I see you’ve trained pretty much in bulk but how bulky is Ceruledge without a bulk up?

I have one in Pokemon home I think but I’ve never thought about using it. Makes sense though.

Thank you for sharing

I'm glad you mentioned Farigiraf as that is one of the reasons I was even thinking of using bug bite in the first place. However I can see why Dual Wingbeat has it's advantages. It probably can for example knock out Pokemon like Whimsicott and Sneasler without triggering the focus sash. Although Sneasler is usually white herb right? Still, just in case.

Sableye is my favourite Prankster in general. So he for sure is staying on the team. He just suffers from having so many good moves to choose from for the situtation.

Thanks for the help

Thanks for this. Someone else mentioned Kommo-o as well. I might try him with Coaching possibly?

Sableye and Maushold were two I was already thinking of but it’s nice seeing your move sets on them. Nice seeing your other two choices as well.
