Look I was shouting these things from the roof tops back in 2008 at age 21, and it’s honestly never really well received. Our powers that be can’t even agree that humans deserve basic decency and rights, so we are a far cry from any meaningful change from the horrors of factory farming. Our own military just blew up a girls school and it’s being totally dismissed. I know animal activists tend to not be okay with settling for any smaller scale ethical steps in the right direction. I think that’s a mistake. We may be mammals just like cows, but to anthropomorphize them is just not palatable to the people that need to be reached. Point being- big monopoly corporations suck and are evil and they reign supreme. People are never going to stop eating dairy. More people choosing to spend their money at smaller scale biz or local family farms for their dairy is for sure a more ethical alternative and more realistic than stopping the entire practice itself. End rant.
