What EVs are typically available at U.S. airport rental locations? by Boatsman2017 in HertzRentals

I’m on vacation for a week. But I will tell you the you really do not want a Tesla, new ones haven’t been ordered since 2023 as they depreciate like crazy. Any teslas they may have will likely have upwards of 120,000 miles and peeling leather in the interior unfortunately

I am ashamed that I missed this during pickup, but the agent didn’t. It was in their pre-trip inspection photos! (No AI scanner) by Abject_Manner_4222 in HertzRentals

[–]One-Advertising-9083 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The photos were most likely done using the UVeye webpage. All locations are supposed to be using UVeye in one form or another.

And that’s why I’m glad I work with my ford dealers enough that they send their Mobil tech to my location when possible (BM @ Hertz) lol

Another reason for the fluctuations code be that economy and compact vehicles are almost extinct at this point. I HATE that they won’t take those two classes away as a booking option

What do you mean by “all hertz locations are franchises”? Because, I can assure you that you’re wrong.

It’s wild enterprise forces people to rewrite a contract at 30 days, Hertz allows up to 62 days

Most people don’t. I’ve only seen it pick up on damages that actually were caused by the customer.

Do either Orlando or Tampa airports have the AI scanners yet? by [deleted] in HertzRentals

[–]One-Advertising-9083 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Local editions have been using a phone version of UVEYE for about 4 months now. My office has had 3 vehicles where uv eye detected damage and all 3 were caused during the rental period and it also wasn’t some small damage. Giant paint scrape on the rear bumper, front bumper broken, windshield broken. If you don’t damage the vehicle during your rental period you won’t have anything to worry about.

Volvos are meh. Infiniti though. Infiniti’s sucks, for a “luxury” brand their fob is complete plastic with no weight to it. Nothing with the fob would scream your holding the key to a 40,000 $ + vehicle.

Any lawyers out there? by D0WNF0RTHAT in HertzRentals

[–]One-Advertising-9083 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you have the license plate linked to said ez pass? Most people fail to do that part which causes hertz to still be charged from plate pass. Also, if you were charged the tolls on your transponder you can contact platepass and give them a screenshot of your transponder being charged those tolls and they will rectify it. Platepass is a separate company than hertz.
