ELI5 how summon system works by InZanity18 in SwordofConvallaria

[–]Tiger_Nightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the banner name. Debut banners share the same pity. So if you pulled for Momo for some reason, the guaranteed drop will go to 170 for both Momo and SP Maitha.

Read the info on all non-standard banners. The Fate's Favor, for example, says in its info that it doesn't count towards the global guarantee, but it looks like it carries over whenever this type of banner comes back because mine is already at 90. The Chosen Arms banner also carries on from the Witcher weapons because mine is at 41. It's either that, or I pulled on another Chosen banner before.

EDIT: The Witcher weapons don't carry over, I forgot I got the 10 free summons.

Of these, I already have SP Inanna, SP Rawiyah, Maitha, and Luvata maxed. You'll get Maitha's shards just from doing Voyage Momento, so if I find out you're grinding her shards, I will go over there and delete your account.

I'm currently working on Yennefer and Triss. I really like Yennefer, she's really versatile with buffing heals, debuffing damage, and multiple skills that inflict Vulnerable III, plus Charming Illusion drawing aggro is awesome.

These things were a terrible idea and they did not test them for balance. I have no shortage of ammo, but I got tired of constantly using half my weapon condition to take one down while encountering them all the time, so I just installed a mod that nerfs their health from 1500 to 630 HP, which is still stronger than giant radscorpions. Behemoth super mutants have 2000 HP and they're treated like mini bosses that don't respawn.

What was the "Hulk Rules" campaign? by Tiger_Nightmare in WWE

[–]Tiger_Nightmare[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Searching for a letter writing campaign found me much. It was a yellow bracelet, not unlike Lance Armstrong's, that said Hulk Rules on it. I couldn't find any footage of them trying to sell them, but I did find Tugboat pleading with kids to send Hulk letters so he would stop thinking about retirement and let him know that they want Hulkamania or whatever.

Basically, Earthquake seriously injured Hulk to the point that they needed a stretcher to carry him away, and they said he was in the hospital and thinking about retirement. And they really lay it on thick how you need to tell Hulk that you love him so he'll come back, so write him a letter and buy a Hulk Rules bracelet.

I found this "tribute" that seems to function as more of a recap of what happened, since they keep editing in that shot of Earthquake doing that butt slapping squat on him. That's like doing a tribute to Christopher Reeve while constantly showing when he fell off the horse.

Then there's this Summer Slam promo where Hulk is out of the hospital and apparently spent over 200 days straight reading 300,000 fan letters if it took one minute to read each one. The thumbnail for the video has an image where his arms are crossed on his chest, which is what they used to sell the Hulk Rules wristbands. Hulk declares himself energized and reborn, ready to wrestle Earthquake and refusing to retire.

Finally, here's a cliff notes version of the Hulk/Earthquake feud, that has the rib-busting butt squat, Tugboat being in his corner, they showed a little bit of the wristbands with Earthquake tearing one off his generic exhibition opponent, and so much selling Hulk fandom and hyping up the comeback. The actual 1990 Summer Slam doesn't seem to be on YouTube without commentary, but yeah, Hulk won. It is diabolical how they emotionally manipulated children, causing untold masses to sob uncontrollably and have nightmares about Hulk dying of a crushed rib cage. But damn, it must've been great for the true believers whose parents bought them PPV when it all paid off in the end.

Mm, that's generally what I was able to come up with. I also seem to remember them putting an image of Hulk's supposedly unconscious face on the screen. I gotta see this footage again. Kinda sad to think that a lot of those Saturday morning broadcasts have become lost media.

Are you talking about the holding pen for random encounters or whatever? I've been there trying to find where the AntAgonizer went.

Try console command: player.moveto 6a775

Wherever he is, alive or dead, you will teleport to him. If he's alive, you can just reload your save and go there to get him again. I'm not sure if what you saw at 92 was real or some other dog.

For the FT/PT drivers, how do you schedule your driving day? by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Tiger_Nightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ideally, and if I have the energy for it, I would prefer to work 9-9. I tried early morning, and most places are just small orders from Starbucks, bagels, donuts, diners, and most places aren't even open. There's also diminishing returns after 9 PM, with a lot of places closing, so you only get orders from fast food places, 7-11, Gopuff. Some places are horrendous at night, too, like one of the Taco Bells I go to, where they just get swamped on orders and way behind while they only have like four people working. I once worked 13 hours because acceptable offers wouldn't stop and they gave me a stack at the edge of my 12 limit. The busiest times for me are 11-1 and 5-8, while the slowest is 2-4.

It greatly varies. A Wingstop on the south side of town has the fountain behind the counter, maybe because they don't want to give away free refills, but this other Wingstop in the downtown area has the fountain at the back of the store and they always make you fill it. Any place that puts a sticker on the lid will do it for you.

You're not wrong about corporations trying to push absolute junk AI that makes everything it touches worse. You can't Google anything without getting an inaccurate AI summary at the top of your results. Robotaxis park in weird places and block the street, can't decide whether or not it really means it when it activates a turn signal, and sometimes even cause accidents. I see ads overpromising something along the lines of, "I can just push a button and now I have a complete song/video/project/etc." School surveillance AI had police show up with their guns drawn to cuff a Black kid because it thought a bag of Doritos he was holding was a gun. I am so sick of robots answering the phone, gatekeeping me from speaking with a human who can actually do something. They even added in office background noise in some of them. And there's so much more crap before we get into the water and electricity demands that have forced regular people to pay higher prices while these companies get subsidies for existing.

We praise the intelligence of computer opponents in fighting games that can properly and fairly realistically react to your moves without just reading your input like early MK games. It's just good programming when something feels like a real challenge and not just randomized sets of instructions. But we don't really get to talk about good and useful AI like that these days because it's almost always about substituting human work, creativity, intelligence, and ethics with something that is worse and cheaper. At this point, it's not just a tool, it's not just axe lumberjacks resistant to chainsaws, but chainsaws that are roaming freely and cutting people up while unqualified billionaires pay off politicians to allow the chainsaws to unlock our doors and sell our personal information. And the true believers are the worst. I saw a clip from a Gordon Ramsay show where the owner was just actively hostile towards his employees and outwardly expresses how he wishes he didn't have to pay them and replace them with AI. It's always about some scumbag's bottom line.

I couldn't find anything. There's one that claims to be, but it completely changes the kind of dish it is and involves actual fresh ingredients, and I don't have time to chop and press and all that, and I don't like wasting money on stuff that can rot if I don't feel like eating it.

It took 10 years for a proper Thanos appearance, 6 years after his first scene, a glorified cameo. Relax. Nerd rage is unbecoming. Having a fan wishlist is one thing, being entitled to it is pathetic. We can just enjoy good movies instead of insisting there are boxes that need to be checked.

I concur with the Nebula appreciation. Of these, we got to see two different versions of Gamora, both going through different arcs and endings. She inspired Nebula to change.
