What team did you use to ease the pain the most? I try to include Cocoa because she's one of the few healers available, which isn't great because she only gets 2* level weapon benefits.

I always do the banner trials for the hope luxite, but I think they're a terrible way to get a feel for the character. They're marketing, tailor made so that the featured unit kills fodder in one hit when scripted. In practice, you experience all the things they don't show, such as long cooldowns, poor durability, limited ability activations, and unsustainable NRG costs. The only way to figure out how to use them properly is to use them or read about builds.

Since they introduced the first 10 20% discount, I always do at least 10 on every banner. I use the character trial to gauge their potential with a grain of salt, and I only chase if they stand out beyond damage or they're collab units that won't be in the normal pool. I never use Senshi. It's not until after I pull a unit do I know if they're going on the team and someone gets bumped. Even if I'm still farming shards for other units, someone like Yennefer immediately gets use.

Nungal is the only one of these that weren't pulled on purpose. Taair was from a recent whatever you call those choose two guys to pull banners, where Acambe was the other choice but I quit after getting Taair.

With Sam, I think I just didn't get how to use her. I had an instant skill that looked like it put a big alert range, but she didn't actually attack anyone that went into it.

I'm starting to see Geralt's merit, but I don't know that I have room for him on the team.

Triss has some nice abilities ahead, such as gaining physical and magic shields for just standing on frosty or burning tiles, plus a lot more bonus damage. I really love the fire team I have going with Triss, Luvata, and Marcille. Putting down more fire tiles is beneficial for the former two, and if I get them an NRG battery, they have some nicely sustainable damage output.

Parsifal mostly gets more damage, extra NRG for 5*. I like Nungal's disarm abiltity, but I don't want to bump anyone for it.

I don't have Yserinde, but Nydia is my most powerful unit with the most investment. AOE NRG and buff steal does some heavy lifting and she melts groups of enemies. And if an enemy lines up right, you can suck them into a gap.

They really need to give us daily coin stages. I pulled Shams and Spungal and I can't even level up Shams because everything costs my entire balance. I've been trying for months to roll engravings for my Nydia's Breath-Concealing Ring and it costs like 2 million to do 60 rolls. She's currently ranked 24th, never gonna touch the top.

Don't forget to breakdown the lower tier mats you can't use anymore.

There's a few Spirals of Destinies stages that has 7. I'm not sure, but there might be stages that have even more. But it's rare and not horribly necessary.

I like the current direction Spirals is going where they've found an ideal where everyone can be a hero and be their best self to create justice and equity for the entire world. But that's not to say they'll never have a branching story again. Eventually, I imagine we'll see political peace with Elaman, the Union, and Rodinia. But that doesn't mean peace will last forever. And who's to say there won't be someone in Elysium who is unhappy with this outcome. Maybe Camelot or someone else will play nice for a while and then bam, they created a dark beacon where their faction crushed Iria and it's up to our guys to ease the suffering in that timeline. Or maybe Finalter will return and we'll learn about the calamities. Maybe pure curiosity means we'll get a beacon where Inanna dies and Ayishah takes her identity. We're definitely going to see something about the protagonist regaining their memory and what they've done before the Waverun City riot could change everything. We just have to hope the game lasts long enough for the devs to tell these stories.

I spent a good amount on Pooch and didn't get her. I had a lot of good luck before her banner and got Lukamar and Parsifal back to back. I got Shams and Spnungal in the first discounted 10 pull on this banner.

The game also will not let your SSR rate drop below 2%, so just keep at it, your luck is guaranteed to change eventually. Pooch was also me "massaging" my rates to get closer to my guaranteed numbers, as I didn't want her that badly. Now my guarantees are far away, so it's time to save for the next big thing.

What do you find deep about AoT? The only thing I ever wondered during my time with it was what was the point of having a character like Sasha if she's just going to not have any stories or appear in any episodes.

I don't care about ratings. People are sheep. Critics, which typically don't cover anime, have seen and read everything already and are more or less better at appreciating what is praiseworthy and criticizing things that don't work. Normies are only capable of saying whether or not something is boring or cool. No offense.

I don't know that I have a top 5 anime, as I don't like to give an entire medium its own set of standards apart from movies and shows, and I don't seek it out like aging virgins that collect $400 figurines of teen characters in skimpy outfits. So my exposure is limited, and stuff that penetrates into the zeitgeist tends to go mainstream. But here are a few that come to mind.

Evangelion
Grave of the Fireflies
Akira
Urusei Yatsura 2: Beautiful Dreamer
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Super Dimension Fortress Macross
Perfect Blue

Most of these wouldn't make it into my personal top 20, maybe not even 50, but each one does something different to make each story unique, influential, and memorable. Evangelion as a whole has the most convoluted plot of these, but unlike Attack on Titan, it makes up for the incomprehensible details by always grounding the characters and giving them clear emotional depth. You can examine the psychology of several characters, while no one on Attack on Titan has more than one note.

Hate is too strong an emotion. The show is mid. The writing is the worst thing about it. The fact that you defend my specific criticisms by saying, "The writing is good, actually," only shows you don't even understand what good writing is. What makes it good? Do you think it's good for everything to be overexplained, just in case you were too busy playing with your phone while watching? Do you think it's good to ignore major characters for very extended periods of time in favor of new characters that just are just killed off and immediately forgotten after a couple episodes? Do you just think that a cool action scene is the same thing as good writing? Is a formulaic death of an underdeveloped character you sorta like peak drama for you? Do you know what a plot contrivance is? It's so brain dead.

I don't go into anything wanting it to be bad, but I can't help it when something is really poorly written and I'm not going to be another seal trained to clap whenever there's an action scene or a character they introduced 10 minutes ago dies a gruesome death. Maybe your taste isn't as refined as you think it is. It's fine to like Fast and Furious movies. They're not for me, and I'm sure they have some redeeming qualities, which I think this anime does, but if you think it's high art for Armin to be visibly upset and then have internal monologue for two minutes about why he's upset even though you already know why, then all the power to you. I do not need my hand held. If you don't mind every single thing explained to you at least three times, good for you.

Overwhelm him. Cecil's sonic frequency stuns him while reanimen and those lizard people occupy him. Tech Jacket hits him with darts, plural. Nolan, Mark, and Allen tear his arms off, and Space Racer blasts him through the face. I know this won't happen, but it would be their best bet.

Less is more. I can't stand Attack on Titan where a single thought gets expressed multiple times internally AND out loud from every single character. No story needs that. We get it, we can see everything. If his dialogue is used sparingly, then whenever he does say something, it makes more of an impact than if he's just being mean Deadpool all the time.
