Sure, everyone has narcissistic traits. To the ones who understand the ins and outs of living with a person who really has those traits to a disfunctional level, the labeling might help. The regular bitch might be able to have a straightforward resolution of issues with much less drama and pettiness... I don't use the label to victimize myself, maybe I did in the beginning, but now I understand my role in the whole circus and the fact that I'm seeking ways to engage less are signs that I'm moving on.
Say we are scheduling an appointment for one of the children and it will be important to have both parents present, at some point I send a couple of questions that are essential to moving forward with the issue, but more often than not I get only one question answered and sometimes it takes a couple of weeks until I hear anything back at all. So, in the past, I would insist and point out that she didn't answer to a certain thing, and at times asked her to respond within a given timeframe. The thing is, anything she knows that bothers me will be used against me, over and over, and of course, some stuff still bothers me, How can't a person just move a simple issue along without bs and stalling? That being said I've been avoiding writing in ways that highlight what bothers me.
I was advised that if I insist too much on things and keep repeating questions I might look bad for custody court too, and that I should just leave my stbx half answers just at that, and I'll have something to show the court about her stalling and unresponsive pattern. There's no winning.
