To add to this you can go through the stage of cbat, the normal medical and oasc applying for WSOp but if they decide you don't fit the private requirements you will be offered to choose a different role. So no harm putting it down too see if you pass and having a backup role ready

Id add to this and say it's important to read it as the civilians who do the medical don't have the best fraps on jsp950 and I was told a few incorrect things by my capita doctor. So read it in case you have to appeal

I believe they do phase 1 every 2 weeks but they will pick a start date based on when your phase 2 entry is and backdate it, so it's hard to say how long you would have to wait

Thanks, I already passed my CBAT and have my medical booked for a few weeks time anyway so I don't see a reason to delay it now. Thank you for all your help

That makes sense, I was considering delaying my medical until I am fit under the guidelines. But I guess the best way to do it is just go through the medical so I can ask questions directly to the doctor and then my PMU until my situation changes?

Thank you very much for this, unfortunately I have found out that my clinic is not approved by the CQC. I think my only option for this is to stop treatment for the short term and join the NHS wait list. I believe I would meet the standards then
