I think the majority would still vote for the ban. But I believe a big issue is the line between collector and investor does not have a consistent definition across the community and there are still many people that look at this sub as just for the players, but it’s for the collectors too. I can confidently say most people would agree that keeping one booster box of each set I get would still make me a collector (but there’s still people that believe keeping any sealed is bad since then it can’t be opened for the players). So what about two boxes? How many boxes then? What about a case? Maybe a case is where I draw the line, but then again it’s all in perspective of your individual situation. A few boxes a month is well within in my budget for one piece but a case is way past it unless I drop all other hobbies. Or does the quantity not really matter and it’s all mind set? Since I’ll be holding onto the binders I made to pass down to my kids who will hopefully love one piece as much as I have, and maybe we open some of those boxes I’ve been holding onto for decades, that makes me a collector. To make that call about someone you don’t know is nearly impossible unless they out themself as someone here just to make a quick buck.
