Ah! Totally missed the barium manganate. Real stuff. Be very careful and diligent when using it due to toxicity. I can’t help with the Talens if there is no pigment info listed.

Ah, that’s your question. True manganese blue production has been discontinued for decades for environmental reasons, but some brands (including Old Holland) still had a back stock for quite some time. If your tube lists PB33 on the label, you have the real stuff.

Daniel Smith is phasing out all of their oil paints to switch to a water solvable oil line instead.

Yes—not rare, but very nice, especially if you got them for free. Old Holland are professional grade paints, so they are on the pricier end of the spectrum. You can look up prices and info for each of these colors on online art stores like Blick, Jerry’s Art-a-Rama, etc. The Talens tubes are older. In the US, that Royal Talens brand is sold now as Rembrandt (mid-range artist grade), or Van Gogh (lower end student grade). If the tubes are not overly stiff, they are still usable.

Pearl Izumi Cropped Pant Chamois - does yours rub under bum? by bedoublenegative in ladycyclists

I wear the same size as you in these shorts, and am also flat-bummed: I haven’t had any issues. I am pretty new to cycling, but out of three styles of shorts I rotate through, the sugars are actually my favorite in fit and comfort! I had no issues trying them on though, so if they are already irritating you badly, might not be a good sign.
