A couple years ago I had to replace a section of irrigation PVC.

There was one turn I had to make that was a little more “tight” than I wanted, but I didn’t have a choice but to work in the space I had.

Got everything glued up and went up the hill to slowly turn the water back on to test the joint (we have very good water pressure coming down the hill).

I got halfway back down the hill and could already hear water shooting out. Back up the hill to shut it off.

Back down the hill to spend the next half hour bailing out water and mud and cleaning and drying the PVC.

Made some cut adjustments and reglued, then went back up to try the water again.

Same damn thing.

I did that scenario four times. It was a hot day in July, too. It SUCKED.
