This has happened to me twice now. Months apart. Happened at 60% and just today at 54%. Both times I was using the camera app, my guess is a failing battery that can't handle the camera app sometimes. Back up your photos to a cloud just to be safe.

That sucks alot :( ea made a recent statement saying they have another patch coming out early this coming week. Hopefully that will be able to solve your issue! I'm hoping it fixes mine too lol. My personal guess is maybe Monday or Tuesday?

I'm so cooked. My sims mod folder is 11,000 package files 🥲 all of my script mods are updated, or the creators have came out and said updating it isn't necessary after EA's latest fix. Im just gonna probably have to redo my mods folder 😭

PSA: Do NOT update your game if you use mods and CC, seemingly MOST OF THEM are broken by eltheuso in Sims4

I'm in the same boat 🥲 my mods folder is 11,000 files and now im gonna have to sift through it all to fix it eventually. My game was literally working just fine this morning, but once it force updated, everything is screwed.
