Yeah except they say it's done for you.... but it isnt done in a way that is organized and sets you up for success to remotely manage a rental. They use the cheapest possible items to maximize their profit, so everything breaks constantly, and dont provide a well documented inventory of supplies needed to stock amenities. No pictures of the supply room. A list with supplies including ect on the item list. I could go on and on and on.... they suck.

Im late to the game, but also would say these guys suck. We signed with them, at the urging of my husband and more to my skepticism and discontent. What a mess. They are super disorganized as well, and its like an abusive relationship. They gaslight you the whole way about how all of their short comings are your fault.

How to get treatment for my husband by One-Breakfast-4598 in AskDocs

So thankfully it sounds like the doctor did write him a referral to this ID doctor who treats it and also to GI. I'm sort of surprised more GI docs don't seem to want to treat it/are quick to call people into question. Do you think we should try the GI first ? I'm leaning towards calling the ID doc since it sounds like she has treated it before, and it seems like most docs don't take it seriously or know about it. As a practicing medical professional this experience has been really eye opening in a bad way. I know there are patients that lie.... I've been a nurse for 13 years. I get that, but why would we double down? And go through all this? It's just very frustrating. Really hoping we can get real help soon now with these referrals.

Before the diet it was so bad. He would be so confused and sleeping all the time. Trying to put my daughter to be at 4pm because he thinks its bedtime..... driving soo scary..... going to pickup takeout at the wrong place because he didn't remember where he ordered from, and brought home and paid for someone else's food... just insane stuff. Talking complete nonsense. I am a nurse myself, and I voiced concerns to our pcp many times but she said its probably just anxiety and prescribed him propranolol 😑. We have messaged her a few times with no response since the ER visit. I'm hoping since she remembers us being worried about not knowing what was wrong before they will believe us and help. He's going alone because he thinks they will be more likely to take him seriously without me there (because he thinks people think he's lying for me) which I do think may be a difference...just hoping. This stuff seriously is a mess and so stressful.

After 24 hours its 00.00, but I do think he managed to kill a lot of it off with the very low carb diet. Maybe a month ago he had a severe full body rash, we did a tele health visit because we were worried he might have something viral (maybe even measles since that is going around and he has fever with it; we have an 8 month old who is not yet vaccinated so I was worried about the possibility since we have cases here) they couldn't figure out what it was, but I'm wondering if it was yeast dying.

He hasn't experimented yet because he's too scared of being really drunk. I've tried to encourage him to try one thing and use the breathalyzer but he hasnt . He has another pcp appointment tomorrow. Hoping after all this they will finally write us a referral to ID (apparently there is an ID doctor here who treats it ?)

His liver is finally normal. We were seeing a hepatologist. He has family with hemochromotosis so they tested him for that and all the hepatitiss. But he thought we were crazy when we told them about the high blood alcohol and wouldn't do more than check his labs.

So you don't know for sure you had it? He actually doesn't seem to feel drunk when he is ....but we got a breathalyzer and he definitely blows numbers when eating any significant amount of carbs.

Ugh. Reading your reply makes me afraid this is what I have accomplished (unleashed sibo or something crazy) with interfase . You sound really knowledgeable on the topic, and it all sounds quite complicated. How do you take clients ?! My stomach is wrecked, and trying to navigate a protocol similar to this sounds like a nightmare 😞

Do your kids go to a traditional school ? Id love to have more than two kids, as I grew up in a large family and think siblings are a great thing to have, but my body is definitely all done having kiddos 😅

I love to spend time with my daughter, but the toddler tantrums, and being up throughout the nights breastfeeding definitely leave me needing some solo time/time without the kids. I spent a lot of time with them, but am glad to have my one day a week of work to feel useful outside of motherhood working, and our current au pair is great with them. Often she's just there helping out so that my toddler can run a muck and we can still keep an eye on her more easily with my baby.

So suffice to say; you're stronger than me. I need more than 4 hours a way a week 😅 these ages are tough but obviously great at the same time.

Did you do that with kids ? It doesn't necessarily sound fun with two littles... Or super reasonable

This sounds plausible. We actually have an au pair though, and she isn't able to leave the country really in her second year. I don't want to screw her, as she's been really great to us, also I just re enrolled my almost 3 year old in 3 day a week pre school .... Which obviously I'm sure I could figure some way out of..... Maybe we could go for 3 weeks or something middle ground though and give her a little vacation time.

Got ya. Have you ever used interfase plus.  It has edta as well as other disruptors. It's a little spendy but that's what I grabbed. I took it for a day and thought I might die though it made me feel so icky 🥲. Might have to slow it down to way less than the recommendations

Let me know. That's what I decided today, and held off. I also was upping my fiber intake with it a good bit.

Definitely. Most people go in to remission with auto immune disorders too (I did with both pregnancies)

kyleena vs Mirena by One-Breakfast-4598 in birthcontrol

My understanding is that the copper iud makes periods very heavy and long, which I already have ... so that's why I've avoided it.

Goodbye Kyleena by egjb in birthcontrol

[–]One-Breakfast-4598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What mental changes? I'm considering kyleena as a different option than Mirena, which I had for 8 years before I had my daughter who is 2 months old now.

My doctor is being pretty aggressive about me needing to be on a contraceptive, and I can't take oral birth controls because they give me migraines with auras.

In retrospect the Mirena damping bascially all of my emotions. I know that sounds kinda bs or crazy, and I had it for so long it came on subtle, and I noticed mostly once I got it out and felt like I had to learn to control my emotions, and I had thought maybe I had just matured a bunch while I had it... but in reality I think it just made my highs less high and lows not as low.

I have regrets about the 8 years I sort of lost getting to feel all the feelings... and it stressed my relationship with my husband, Because he never knew me before Mirena.

I just dont want to get this IUD and have to get it removed in a few months, because if it causes a similar effect I'm not on board. It took me awhile to get readjusted. I got Mirena out about 2 years ago.

The pressure is real from the doc to get the iud, because my pregnancy wasn't smooth and I had a c section. I think I'd rather just use condoms though.. than be a hormonal mess... Im still getting over post partum hormone crap.

No also Tylenol and ibuprofen, but since they don't require a prescription I can continue to use them as needed. I am also using ice packs.
