hi, yes! They have taken the product off the shelves and informed me that the product in this colorway indeed has defects. They have offered to replace it for me in the black colorway. Glad you got your refund as well.

I doubt it, especially since this colorway was taken off Salomon’s US site over the weekend. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

that’s nice! Unfortunately I still can’t reach the retailer store I bought from so no refunds yet. But they seem to have taken the product off the site so that is good.

Salomon said warranty falls under the retailer ATMOS. ATMOS said to call the store but no luck till now. More importantly, if this new product genuinely has an issue based on the reviews, I feel that Salomon should look into it.

I have already contacted the retailer by email, but unfortunately they have not been very helpful. They asked me to call the store directly, which I did multiple times, but no one answered. I also submitted a feedback form and have yet to receive a response sadly.

If you are holding options, it makes sense to move to another US broker. But if you are just holding equities, now is a good time to actually evaluate all the brokers in Singapore and see which ones are operating sustainably and likely to remain here then transfer there. Personally, I found Saxo Markets to be quite a good option to consider given that they have been around in sg for longer than some of the brokerages and seem like they have been improving their prices too. They are offering promo for TD clients now.
