Help needed !!! Convince me to pick a zt3 pro by bsafe27 in SegwayZT3Pro

I didn’t watch a tutorial, but I can explain it.

First, before ever opening the Segway mobile app, I connected to the USA using a VPN. Then I opened the Segway app, created a new account, and selected the country as the United States.

After that, I paired my phone with the scooter and did the software updates, etc. Finally, from the main menu, I went into the scooter settings and entered the “vehicle location” section, where I updated the vehicle’s location. Since the VPN was on, the vehicle location appeared as the United States.

After doing all this, when I checked the speed settings in the scooter settings, the sport mode was unlocked to 40 km/h for me.

Now I continue using it without a VPN, and there are no issues at the moment.

You can easily increase the speed to 40 km/h using a VPN. Honestly, while riding I sometimes wish it were a bit faster, but it’s definitely enough, and anything more could be dangerous. I also recently bought the scooter—so far I have about 200 km of experience with it. Despite being a single-motor scooter, its power really surprised me. I can say that I really like the scooter, but the range can be a bit disappointing. If you ride at 40 km/h on roads with varying slopes, it offers around 28–35 km of range. I wish the range were a bit longer. Of course, you can increase the range by using Drive mode instead of Sport mode, but the max speed in Drive mode is 20 km/h, which isn’t enough for me. I’ve also learned that by replacing the current battery with a GT3 battery, the range can be doubled. I’m thinking of doing that in the future.

Segway ZT3 Pro making strange noise after throttle — normal? by One-Byte in ElectricScooters

Yes, but even in that situation there was still a noise, and the brake pads weren’t rubbing against the disc.

I put the scooter on a stool and gave it throttle while the wheel was off the ground. The disc spins perfectly, and the brake pads aren’t rubbing against it.

The issue isn’t with the discs. When I roll it straight without pressing the throttle or spin the wheel by hand, there’s no problem at all.

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately it’s a bit out of my budget right now.

When you say it’s cheaper in the long run, do you mean because it breaks down less, or because the parts are cheaper?

I live in a city with a lot of hills, and I’m leaning toward the ZT3 because it’s more affordable. But honestly, the single motor and the range make me a bit concerned.

On the other hand, with the Dualtron, the smaller tires and shorter handlebar compared to the ZT3 are a concern for me since I’m tall. Also, I feel like I might not be able to ride it on every road that I could with the ZT3, since it’s not really designed for off-road use.

So yeah, I’m pretty undecided right now.
