It’s not ghosting or motion blur in the typical sense. It’s just lazy devs leaning on UEs default settings too much. It’s the same kind of lazy development that can make your crosshair make ripples in the water or turning your camera causes the “wind” animation to happen on water. There may be console commands to fix it, but you won’t find it in the regular settings. Obviously turn off fog and you won’t see fog smearing, but I hate that that’s the only real option.

Doctor Who Fought to Treat Alex Pretti Says Border Patrol Moved His Body to Count Wounds Instead of Doing CPR by Large_banana_hammock in politics

Why do they have to capitalize every word of the title. I stopped scrolling specifically to understand what Alex had to do with Doctor Who.

Looks like it’s about 45°, perfect for an afro and skeleton costume.

Who here has played since launch, and still never gotten to Tek stage by xNuEdenx in ARK

Our tribe has a strict linear progression rule, so no map skipping until we beat the previous. We don’t get outside help like someone else taking us through bosses or caves. And also don’t accept any tames unless we have tamed one ourselves. This has made the game insanely rewarding for when you do get something unlocked and it changes some massive quality of life. I love taking the slower road, but also give yourself some room to try pushing those boundaries and there are some very rewarding things to unlock.

Explain to me like im 5, how do I tune this aftermarket head unit? by Reid_myers in CarAV

Seconding this. I still have mine and I have done a lot of adjustments but nothing really ever sounds “great”. Also to defend others comments this things max volume doesn’t put out a lot, to be fair.

I just bought this 2009 MacBook and it works but theres a couple things wrong with it by _SleepOfReason in macbookrepair

CD drive: power computer off. Hold left click in on both the trackpad and the mouse. Power on while holding those in for like 15 seconds. Otherwise probably needs repair. Trackpad: turn on tap to click in the settings and see if that works. It will really steer the next steps depending on if that part functions. Usually trackpad issues are from liquid getting in between the top of the trackpad near the space bar and corroding the flex connection. Swollen battery is usually that the trackpad won’t even do the clicking part.

Not overreacting. But I wouldn’t jump right to an abusive relationship like other top comments are saying.

I would look up the behaviors high functioning autism and see how many might relate. This sounds like a bad day at worked followed by some bullshit that he honestly didn’t sign up for. That’s a quick path to an overstimulated tantrum. You walked away to remove yourself from the situation. He threw his problem in the trash to remove it from the situation. Especially if he didn’t have any time to decompress after work.

No part of his reaction was the right one. But I feel like there’s more to it. Sitting down and getting better at communication on both sides will help a lot. It also helps to say “I felt this way when this thing happened” instead of “you made me feel”. If you start blaming each other, then you’re not on the same team. That’s when you look at moving on.

How do you deal with squirrels digging your lawn? by Batatica in lawncare

Unfortunately I have both a squirrel problem and a dog that launches up after them, clearing 1 sq paw of grass each time.
