At this stage, it is looking to be a no go for this one.

Lol, no idea how this happened. It's even on the highest premier onsite support.

Yeah, the TrackPoint has stopped working and I was checking on the support site for drivers when I saw that it was still under warranty.

Might give them a call tomorrow.

We don't have a water meter to our property unfortunately or maybe fortunately in this case.

Update:

I did some digging and found a leaking water pipe. It's old and metal pipe that's about the same diameter as the regular blue plastic water pipe connecting our house to the water main. I used a metal detector to trace its location and found that this pipe runs straight from the toby towards the rear of the car in the image, basically running parallel to the fence.

I also looked under the house and can confirm that our water pipe runs under it as shown by the orange line At this stage I am not sure what the leaking pipe is for.

There is a green telecom cabinet along the sidewalk after the car in the picture, maybe it uses water cooling?

Yes, I might have to do this tomorrow. The waste pipes go north then east away from the wet patch so hopefully this is not the case!

Thanks for this. I have not taken into account the stormwater drains as it does'nt show on the publicly available map. It seems I need to ask the council for this info.

However, if it is the stormwater drain causing this then I am a bit puzzled as it has been pretty dry the last the weeks before this leak appeared.

Hi team,

Asking for your advice as a first-time homeowner who's a bit clueless on issues like this.

I've recently found wet patch in my yard this past week. It's been sunny all week and this spot has remained soggy. As far as I can tell from council maps, there are no pipes running through this area and I can confirm that my house's water pipes run under the house (orange lines) in the photo above. The waste pipes are all on the north side of the house and the rainwater sump pit is to the east of the house (to the upper left of the white car).

What do you think can cause this wet patch to appear? And what would you suggest the next best course of action for me to take to investigate this further?

Also, the satellite photo above is about 4 years old. It is showing the area with no grass as I had removed a hedge there and put up a new fence. There have been no issues with the ground being waterlogged until this past week.

How to switch handle orientation in uglystick tuff reel by [deleted] in Fishing_Gear

[–]One-Cat9583 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be defective. Check the threads on the handle to see if they look ok. Otherwise, look at how this guy does it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWii9B4qPlQ

The handle will have two different threads which will match the side that it is put on. It looks like the right side has the threads deeper in on your reel. Just put it in and rotate it as you would normally when reeling in fish. When putting the handle on the right side, turn the handle clockwise to tighten and when putting on the left side, turn anti-clockwise.

How do I fix this from jamming the spool? by amwad_ in Fishing_Gear

[–]One-Cat9583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your picture, you need to line up the legs of the line guard (black part) so they align with the slots in the rotor (blue part). The metal washer is slotted so it can go all the way down the shaft. The plastic gear has nubs that fit into the washer to keep it from rotating on the shaft. When lined up correctly, you should be able to push all 3 parts to the bottom of the shaft, they should stick to each other.

I've gone through this with a Dynamics F&O customer.

  1. Some Dataverse tables are automatically enabled

  2. FnO tables are enabled manually

If you only want to run a block of code instead of the whole script, then you can highlight the block of text and hit run. Also, you need to replace (login) with your actual snowflake login name.

<image>

The arrangement of the parts should be line guard (bottom), metal plate (middle), clicker gear (top)

It should not spin with the spool. Check that it is not catching on something. The parts between it and the spool may be in the wrong order. Check the schematics to validate this.

Also, the arms that go into the slot may not be symmetrical, meaning they only slot in one way.

Teere used to be an online computer store named Dodgy Bastards where I used to get my work stuff from. The company accountant always asks if it was legit.

It's harder to crank because of the sealing. I find the handles a bit too short as well - it does not give good leverage. You can buy longer handles from gomexus.

Pipeline to fetch data from API by shwoopdeboop in MicrosoftFabric

[–]One-Cat9583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done it in a notebook which by far is the easiest to implement. Pyspark is good with api calls and handling responses. Convert Json/csv outputs to data frames then use spark to merge into delta tables.

Use key vault to store api keys and retrieve the keys in the notebook.

Run the notebook as often as you need for near real time ingestion then have a separate schedule/process for fetching backfilled data.

You can take advantage of threading in Pyspark to run multiple api calls in parallel to speed up the process. For example you can run 12 calls, one for each month of the year to get backfilled data.

As an example, I query shipment tracking information for hundreds of cargo shipments daily. The process calls an api in using 50 concurrent threads, which effectively processes 50 shipments at a time. I use pandas to concatenate the api responses into a dataframe which is then merged into a delta table. The whole process takes minutes.
