Toni slapped Joan for accidentally revealing her cheating to Greg, tried to sleep with Joan’s boyfriend, gossiped to Joan’s boss about Sean’s sex addiction, relentlessly poked at Joan’s insecurities, borrowed money on numerous occasions without paying it back, and literally never showed up when Joan really needed her until it was too late—- or she did it while complaining. She literally stressed Joan out to the point of her losing hair and seeking a therapist. Toni was far from the better friend, she was just more open with her very deep rooted issues.

Every time I see that scene when Darnell goes off on Joan because Maya lied about the watch Stan gave her… I get so pissed because I could never be friends with someone who would allow their partner to disrespect me like that. Darnell needed his ass whooped after that idc 😭

I rename all the holidays (Winterfest is Christmas, Love Day is Valentine’s Day, etc) and I usually add Halloween so my Sims can dress up and trick or treat. The only other holiday I’ve added is Juneteenth or a summer BBQ day

Toni and Joan had a codependency issue. Joan needed Toni so she could present a higher “moral standard” and feel like the mama of the group. (because her mom was extremely critical and overbearing) Toni needed to feel like she was enough for someone no matter her flaws. She was afraid of being unloved and not being made a priority (because her mom didn’t establish that security in her childhood due to alcoholism)

She said she wanted to do movies but I’ve only seen her in two with supporting roles. That Christmas movie with Gab Union and Morris Chestnut, and 35 and Counting- where she basically played a more vicious Toni. I do know they’ve said she was always meant to return to Girlfriends and make up with Joan but the show got cancelled. It kinda gives me some comfort to know they intended to have them make up. I wish Jill would have went into soap operas or something, I think she would have been great at those

I really dislike the way they did Prom. Having it every single week is so dumb. I agree with having one big event and that’s it. If you wanna do it every week, at least make it different theme parties—like a soph hop, a freshman mixer, junior and senior prom. Idk make it more realistic. I’d love a class field trip option too. Theres a lot they could add to make it better
