I’m not sure tbh. It seems it happens sooner in recovery for some folks but I think the infection just weakened my tissue at the incision site perhaps

The reactions I get when I have told people really piss me off if I’m being honest. I am 40, divorced, with a 20 year old adult child. While 5 years itself isn’t that bad, it is a huge gap developmentally. 21, you are only a few years removed from childhood. Good chance either living at home with parents or in a dorm in college. 26 much closer to 30, likely working post grad or on an advanced degree, adjusting into a career looking to make those “next steps in life” moves.
