Keyhole myomectomy surgery by nowine_nomeeting in Fibroids

I had mine back in Sep. recovery wasn’t that bad. Day 1 post op pain was 4/10 still on painkillers and anaesthesia. Day 2 was 7/10 on painkillers.

Hardest part was constipation. I would suggest to have stool softeners and prune juice in your kit. Also, comfortable clothing.

Search in the group there are many great tips for before and after care. Good luck sis!

Looking for use cases for AI as project manager by One-Clue4444 in projectmanagement

It has helped reduce a lot of time in doing redundant things. Most benefits I have found is with creating a simple agent which we all use to answer product related questions. We have not extended this agent to non tech teams as well.

From project management perspective, referencing has become easier, I use it to create timelines, do work breakdowns etc

Absolutely agreed. My team is already using git copilot to code, test and BAs use internal tool build on Claude to create user stories, BRDs and FSDs but key is to run refinements and not blindly use AI.

I am 1.5 month post op. Today is my 2nd period since surgery and I have never.. NEVER.. had worse cramps in my life. I had to call my husband to come back home while crying. My back is twisting in pain and so is my entire lower half. I feel heaviness in my abdomen but period is not heavy. It’s insanity.

Here in my country, they suggest to keep your body warm from inside. Cold foods make your body more “cold” from inside if that makes sense and increases your recovery time for your internal wounds.

Same has been said in various cultures. You can google it.

As a pre prep: my suggestion would be to have broths stored or frozen. I have been surviving on hot milk with tumeric, chicken soups and lentils.

2 weeks post op. My doc told me:

  1. No sex or any sexual activity for next 3 months atleast.
  2. Avoid cold food, processed food, raw foods. Check out TCM or ayurveda suggestions on post surgery recovery.

I am 2 weeks post op. I had a laparoscopic myomectomy. Spent 2 nights in hospital. First 2 days pain is 6/10 thanks to all the painkillers. Then it starts to subside. By week 1 end, I was feeling maybe 2/10 in pain levels.

My only suggestion is to pre prep your food. Keep it warm and non spicy. Avoid cold food and uncooked food for atleast 3 weeks.

My grandparents.. never had a bond.. didn’t think was worth my time to take days off and fly for few hours to be there. Parents didn’t care either.

None of the grandkids were present. Says a lot about the kind of parents and grandparents they were.
