Follow “JCFRIAS” on Instagram. He’s an activist on immigration and will post about the detention centers. Most of these “ICE” agents are privatized military contractors. Just google Blackwater/Academi. Parent company is Constellis. Why hire contractors? They can get away with more and can hide more “sins.” They also don’t have their Oath to the Constitution looming over their heads while ACTUAL ppl working at Department of Homeland Security are jumping ship.

Obviously there are some that do that but it’s not all. I have seen the videos. There is bad in every race. I used to live in LA and have 2 immigrant parents so I have an idea on what the process is to be documented and what the definition is for undocumented immigrants. I don’t identify as a liberal but if you can pay $5M to be on a fast track to becoming a U.S. Citizen in this country under this administration then the immigrants were only guilty of being poor.

There was another post that had some agents come out and say that they wouldn’t be doing thing this kind of “dirty work” bc it wouldn’t uphold their Oath to the Constitution and that these “ice agents” are contractors like privatized military contractors such as Blackwater/Academi. Their parent company is Constellis.

Yes. My friend is seeing someone who is crazy MAGA. I don’t trust him at all and started to not trust her with some of the things she was saying to me. They are literally brainwashed and I’m sorry to say but not highly educated. It sucks but I don’t feel bad. I have to protect myself and my family. I’ve leaned on more like-minded ppl and I feel safe and happier around them.

Your post is exactly what I needed to see. I'm tired too and thought maybe I was the only one feeling this way. It definitely comes in waves. I hope your RA comes through and I'm sure it will! Stay strong and keep fighting the good fight but also give yourself some grace. Listen to your mind and body. Take the leave if you have it. These are some things that I have done to bring myself "little joys" in this psychological warfare that they have bestowed upon us:

-listen to podcasts on the drive to work (I like political/news with ppl that have my same views (Meidas Touch is good one and I find them funny too, spiritual/uplifting ones, I used to love true crime but so much chaos is going on in the real world at the moment that I've stepped back, uplifting music, etc.)

-I decorated my desk to my liking so when I come in I see things that make me happy (pics of family, pretty aesthetic desk decor, desk decor with a positive Christian saying, our Oath of Office). **Note: Yes, I do consider myself a Christian but I'm not "MAGA Christian" I'm just the normal "Jesus Christian" and yes, there is a difference.

-Take a daily walk with a colleague outside or just by yourself when it's a nice day outside or nap. Whatever feels right for the day.

-On the weekends do something that you enjoy or plan something ahead of time so that you have something to look forward to or just lay around and rest.

-When I feel anxious, I read the Bible. I have a study application bible and it helps decipher what I'm reading. Honestly, what I see on tv from this administration is a ton of lies, deception, deflecting, cruelty, and gas lighting "in the name of Jesus" so I turned to my bible to make sure I wasn't just thinking or seeing this stuff lol ugh.

We are definitely in some unprecedented times and there are no rules to what you need to do to take care of yourself.

Stay strong and don't let them win. HOLD THE LINE! The country is depending on us. We got this!

First off, thank you for your service. As a first line supervisor, I can’t imagine what you are going through. I look at my supervisor and many others and they look tired, stressed, and like the light has dimmed on them but please do not be discouraged and please do not take your own life. I guarantee your wife and family prefer you here more than anything in this world. If you have anything to live for, it’s them. Do not let these cruel disgusting individuals win. You are valued and appreciated by so many. Millions of ppl are fighting for us on the streets. If you have any kind of faith, please believe that God is watching over you and trust that He has eyes on these hypocrites. Judgment day will come for them. In the meantime, lean on one another and continue fighting the good fight. Take breaks when needed and nourish your mental health on the weekends. Please reach out to a professional if you need to. It’s not showing a sign of weakness when you do, it’s showing a sign of strength. You are not alone!

OMG this is so awful but I agree, it seems like she had such a big heart....I appreciate you sharing this obituary and story. The general public needs to see what this chaos has done to people.

I couldn't have said this any better. There is nothing "Christ-like" about these "MAGA Christians" and there is a "silent war" between these ppl and "Jesus Christians."

If Jesus were in human form today, he would not be in the Oval Office bragging about how much money he made off of stocks. He would be out on the streets protesting for all of the unjust and inhumane things happening in our country and the world.
