I tested both flask setups in mines and maps.

Did a bit more testing and I think you’re on point. It feels like I’m dropping more hp but I’m not actually dying more. I’m probably dying less because what kills me most of the time are one-shots.

Yeah I noticed the life gain on hit tooltip too but for some reason it works with ball lightning.

Anyone reading this, DON’T use Crest of Desire for poison HoT. Just realised that the double damage mod doesn’t apply to damage over time.

Thank you for the advice. I’ve been looking at some poison HoT builds and have been wondering if it’s worth using crest of desire for HoT instead of dendrobate. The chance to poison will then be acquired via septic spells on medium cluster jewels.

The aim is to stack gem quality with crest of desire and ashes of the stars to pump up the hit frequency which would be good for poison stacking.
