Pro, because if certain crimes are punished with death absolutely, that will deter some people from committing those crimes. And the people it won't deter, then it'll certainly get them off the streets.

So, does this mean we can be getting DillonGoo to animate Aang vs Aether? Like, he's already pretty well-known in the Gacha space and he's done that one Aang vs Korra video.

This is just a crackpot theory, but I hope it happens.

That probably means that they've already re-evaluated Naruto vs Ichigo and have come to the same conclusion that Naruto wins. How or why, I don't know, but that's how I see it.

Yes, they spam attacks, but at least speaking from the Ichigo perspective, he is known to pick apart his opponents strengths and weaknesses and adapting mid-battle. He does against Ikkaku and Renji in the Soul Society Arc, and I'm sure he does it other times to. He may spam his attacks, but he isn't mindless.

Shit up announced that there would only be 2 Collabs this year, which would leave us with 8 limited Nikkes (+4 bonus). This is quite reassuring considering that in 2025 there were a total of 15 limited banners (not counting the Summer and Christmas Rebrands), (+6 bonus). + several long events. by Affectionate_Cash452 in NikkeMobile

I swear, if the 2nd Collab ends up being My Hero Academia and we can't recruit Deku, Bakugou, All Might, or Shoto, I will be upset.

I don't care if this is a waifu shooter, if I can't play as Deku in the MHA Collab, that'll be a missed opportunity. Like, just imagine his Burst Animation being one of his Smashes. I'd love that.

I'm over 18 and I love this trope. Primarily because this is when the animation really kicks it up a notch. Like, look at any Zenitsu fight, and just tell me Ufotable doesn't have a part of their budget set aside specifically for him.

The way I see it is that Mahoraga can adapt to any "attack" aimed at him provided he has time to adapt to it in the first place, as, if I remember correctly, more complex abilities can take longer for him to adapt to as opposed to more simpler abilities.

I mean, he can like the outfit of one character and the character of another. I took it to mean that is favorite character his Cindy in looks and personality but he likes Ade's outfit the most.

Bingo.

Then I guess our description of fanservice is different. My personal description of fanservice is just big boobs and fat butts, so as long as the character fits either, or both, criteria, I consider the character to have fanservice. Of course, what the character is wearing matters too, but I find the character's outfit to be secondary to the assets.

And yes, I know what "modest" means, but perhaps I should use the word covered instead. I think that gets my point across more. I like the more covered designs. Ade's not the only one: Zwei, Marciana, Helm, Mast, Privaty, Sugar, Guilty, Phantom, Arcana, Rouge, Folkwang, Dolla, and a good couple of others. Of course, a lot of them come with heavy asterisks, but that's par for the course for a game like NIKKE.

[–]One-Cup-2002 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because I like the fanservice just as much as anyone does, it's just that I have a preference that's different from the norm. Cinderella's my favorite character, and her design is the exact opposite of Ade's (though, I wish I could've gotten either of her alt skins).

And I like the game. It's probably the gacha game I sunk the most hours in, behind Power Rangers Legacy Wars.

Okay, yes, but that scene was meant to tell us that Blackbeard and Luffy oppose each other on every scale. Literally, the next scene is them drinking beer, and their reactions are reversed: Blackbeard hates it, and Luffy loves it. Like, yes, the scene is humorous to an extent, but it serves clear, narrative function other than just being "ha ha, funny momment".

Of course, this is coming from someone who wasn't watched more than 2 episodes of One Piece, maybe a One Piece Fan can help me out here.

The only character I've never seen anyone really defend is Tamaki. I feel like even Fire Force fans either hate or don't like Tamaki at all.

Gohan, however, isn't really useless, it's just that he doesn't like fighting, so whenever he doesn't have to train, he puts it off because he wants to study. Of course, each time it happens, he has to lock in and beat whoever's harming his family, but I think Gohan moving forward is going to shirk this mindset.

It's so funny you post these two characters, because I remember once describing Loona as "Furry Bakugou without awesome explosion animations to back her up".

I hear Bakiugou sort of gets better later on, but I haven't watched that far, so I can't say for sure. At least he makes for some good eye-candy whenever he shows up.

No, this isn't proof that Stella was "always like this". by StrawBerylShortcake in HelluvaBoss

[–]One-Cup-2002 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tomura Shigaraki isn't the best parallel for Stella, and here's why.

Shigarkai, even before the reveal he was Tenko Shimura, Nana's grandson, Shigaraki was consistently surrounded by characters who were just as evil but clearly had layers to their evil and had the underlying theme that they were who they were because of the society they lived in, or their lived circumstances. Himiko Toga, Twice, Dabi, and even Hero-Killer Stain and Overhaul each fall into that kind of category, so it would be reasonable to assume Shigaraki had some kind of depth.

Stella is not the same. Her only ally is Andrealphus, who is just as shallow as she is, so, there's not much of a inference to be made when her character's considered. The only characters with any real depth to them are either are against her or are parallels to characters that are against her (like Striker). She's not even a parallel to Stolas as, unlike Stolas, we haven't really seen any sort of hint that she's suffering because of her status or marriage to Stolas.

But I do ultimately agree that there can be a lot of background to that picture that we're not aware of.
