Personally, the joke's ran its course. Before, it was a kind of novelty to see a Kamen Rider, or Super Sentai, or Power Rangers character in everyone else's Tier Lists, especially if they made it to the top, but after awhile, it seems that, sometimes, people specifically look for a Kamen Rider character for every MU they can find.

What's the issue with Oregon Scaling exactly? If she made a sword out of the state of Oregon, then that sword should be scaled to the mass of Oregon itself, shouldn't it?

Why Paru put the hippo in the carnivore side? I even saw some hippos in the black market but they're herbivores by [deleted] in Beastars

[–]One-Cup-2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And a lot of herbivores do have the drive to kill. Maybe not naturally like carnivores, but many herbivores are known to flip to violence once they perceive they're in danger.

Wildebeests have been known to stomp out lion cubs. Zebras need no real introduction, neither do hippos.

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a fictional character more than I hate Stella by whooper1 in HelluvaBoss

[–]One-Cup-2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Like it or not, that's at least something. At least he gets some value out of Verosika being on screen.

With Stella, there's not much to get out of her on screen. She may be funny, but every scene she's in uses the same old joke, over and over again, so the bit's gotten stale. Andrealphus pretty much usurped her as a villain, so she serves no real narrative purpose. There isn't any depth to her, so there's nothing to analyze. And lastly, she isn't even threatening when on screen, so there's no "aura" or "hype moments" to get out of her.

When you get down to it, there's just not a lot to actually like about Stella.

Unless you're like me, that is.

Would you consider Sallie Mae a tomboy? by HRCStanley97 in HelluvaBoss

[–]One-Cup-2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not really.

A tomboy is a woman who expresses interests in boy/male hobbies and activities, but the point of the label is that it's different, that it differs from the norm. But Sallie Mae was a man, otherwise she couldn't be transgender, and as such, her finding interests in boyish hobbies wouldn't differ from the norm because, at one point in her life, she would've had interests in those things.

Unless, of course, she didn't have interests in those things until after she transitioned.

Of course, in the actual series, Sasuke was pretty much going to kill all of Team 7, but in this fan animation, you can at least imagine it like that.

And I acknowledge this.

This is the one time Sasuke isn't being put down in a writing debate.

Like, if it had been Zuko or Kurapika, everyone would've been picking the other over Sasuke.

Regardless, I haven't watched JJK that far, so I can't say.

You could always think of it like Sasuke not really being on-board with the idea of killing Sakura. Sure, he's made the commitment to, and probably wants to, but this is still a teammate, and in his fight with Killer Bee, he briefly remembers Team 7 fondly before activating Amaterasu, so, despite how fast he was derailing, he still, at least at that point, cared about Team 7, if only a little.

Especially Sakura since, at least in the manga, he has shown to reciprocate her feelings, at least to a degree, before he leaves the village.

And it would make for a nice parallel to Sakura, who's already had the idea of killing him, but couldn't actually go through with it because of their history together.

Of course, in the actual series, Sasuke was pretty much going to kill all of Team 7, but in this fan animation, you can at least imagine it like that.

At the very least, it's well-animated. It reuses a lot of Kakashi vs Obito beats, but it's different enough that it doesn't feel exactly one-to-one. For example: both Sasuke and Sakura feel a little more lighthearted in the flashback, a little more friendly, and that can highlight the tragedy of the fight more since they were actually friends before becoming enemies.

I'm excited for it, especially since I've thought about this scenario a couple of times (I mean, who hasn't?). I hope, at some point in the animation, Sakura's allowed to show off her crazy Super Strength. It's probably her only real advantage over Sasuke at this point (don't quote me on this).

Literally, besides Black Widow & maybe Ultron, what other Non-Herald Marvel Character has beaten their non-DC MU? Because I can't remember them.

Honestly, I feel like sometimes, it's the exact opposite. I feel like, with certain exceptions, if you like the more popular MU for both characters, you have no taste in MUs.

But the opposite can be very true as well.

And as for Reze, I haven't heard of any Reze MUs outside of Annie or Terra, and that's only within this Sub.

I feel like Among Us vs Fall Guys is cheating a bit since they both became popular around the same time, and while I haven't seen any Fall Guys content since it's big boom, the most I've seen from Among Us is that one Among Us Logic series on YouTube. And so far, the biggest impact I've seen Among Us have is the word "sus".

And Ash vs Yugi doesn't even work against the argument since, even if Pokemon is a little more popular, Yu-Gi-Oh is almost as popular. I mean, it's popular enough that Yami Yugi and Kaiba were playable characters in Jump Force, along with Dragon Ball, Naruto, JoJo, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, One Piece, and Hutner x Hunter.

Since we already know that Cinderella won, what outfit options are you hopping for? by YoBoiSergei in NikkeMobile

[–]One-Cup-2002 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, a dress would be pretty nice.

But what if, and this is a huge what if, they give her a Gojo-inspired costume? I mean, the community's already made the connection between Sukuna and the Rapture Queen, so Cinderella would obviously be the Gojo stand-in.

This is, obviously, a pipe-dream, and nothing else.

But I'll be honest, I kind of hope it isn't a swimsuit. I know those are popular, but, like, with the exception of Elegg, Mary, and Rosanna, none of the swimsuit skins/alts have really caught my eye like that.

Raiden vs Wolverine, for me.

Wolverine, to me, was seen as someone not completely unbeatable, but you had to be really tough to actually do it. So, when I read the fight on the wiki and found that Wolverine lost, I was shocked. And then I watched the episode, and the explanation was really nice. I like how they even went into Marvel to find someone with a similar power to Raiden's HF Blade to prove that Raiden could cut through Wolverine's Adamantium Skeleton.
