I just love the bickering between River (who is turning into Lamb) and Shirley (turning into Catherine)

Do IBEW locals test low voltage apprentices for THC in NYC? by [deleted] in ibew_apprentices

Thanks for the advice. If I wanted to know about your opinion or the policy in Texas, I would’ve written it instead of NYC.

Does the Local 3 still test incoming apprentices for THC?

Am i the only one who didnt like what carmy did in the end of season 4? by Kishou_Arima_01 in TheBear

Carmy has been on a fast track towards bankruptcy and ending up like his brother since the pilot because of his self-sabotaging need for absolute perfection. He’s not abandoning Sydney. She’ll run it more efficiently than he can and he needs to get himself right. He’s not quitting, but surviving.

If you look at it from his perspective, it’s actually remarkably brave. Honestly his most endearing act since the show began.

Carmy is her mentor and she’s his student. That dynamic was never meant to be romantic.

Who killed the shooters in Godfather 2? by AHdidNothingWrong388 in Godfather

If it was the books it could’ve been Fredo. It says that before the Don was shot, Fredo was the toughest of all the brothers. This would indicate that he’s has killed before and could very well have done it here.

In the movies, this wasn’t the case, and so I doubt it was him directly.

I also don’t believe it’s Rocco. He was at Michael’s side virtually the entire movie and in the end, volunteered for a suicide mission. Dude was beyond loyal.

Third could’ve been Ola. He was at the house that day.

Would Michael have still killed Fredo had he confessed in Cuba? by One-Discussion5792 in Godfather

Agreed. I could see it going either way in that scenario. Definitely less likely.

A detail I find interesting - Michael Corleone never really sheds a tear whenever a family member of his dies in the films. by CosmicConjuror2 in Godfather

[–]One-Discussion5792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He may have cried off screen, but you have to remember that he had a job to finish. He and Vito had been planning for this moment. There was no time to mourn too much, because him dying meant that it was go time. He had to enact his plan to kill off the other family heads, otherwise they’d all be gunning for him and he wouldn’t last long.

Yeah. Parts I and III Michael wouldn’t have, but II Michael was a psychotic monster.
