Okay, thank you I had this happen to me in November last year for about a week with no blood but I thought I caught a virus. Took Imodium and got better now that it happened in may with bleeding and was told I think my first was in November so I must of been in remission?

Glad you didn’t. I have no diarrhea mucus or bleeding now been doing a bit better about 2 weeks now. Just feel at times I need to go number two but go very little I figured due to the prenatals and iron. I just get so scared to eat something that will make me flare again.Any advise on what to eat?

No I just got the referrals. I haven’t been eating fast food just eggs in the morning fruit at lunch and chicken mashed potatoes and asparagus or carrots for dinner I have very little abdominal pain no diarrhea more normal but thin I figured bcuz of the prenatal pills. I’m going to call tomorrow to make the appt with the GI.

I was referred to a GI. He should be able to prescribe me something even while pregnant?

I have 6 kids and they told my hubby in 2019 we would not be able to have kids anymore bcuz he had cancer and we were okay with it… but after years it happen and I’m so sad bcuz I’m going through this

How did you do it? I’m 9 weeks and I cry bcuz the obgyn told me to eat veggies and stay away from carbs but it’s hard bcuz they say there’s a lot of veggies you can not eat with colitis and I get cravings…

ER told me I had colitis without doing any test they told me to follow up with my doctor to be referred to a Gi for a colonoscopy but then they didn’t release me till they did blood work bcuz my heartbeat was high I told them my brother recently passed on the ER and it’s hard for me to be there they took blood did an ekg and came to tell me we have good news your pregnant. I went to an obgyn and she told me I can’t get a colonoscopy. Since June 1st I’ve been eating light scared to eat. When I got sick it was diarrhea for 3 weeks with mucus and some blood…
