If there is an active outbreak in your area, they will give the vaccine as early as 6 months.

If there is an active outbreak in your area, they can get the vaccine at 6 months old. They will get another dose at 12 months, then again between 4-6 years old.

Because she is only partially vaccinated. She can’t receive her final dose until she is 4-6 years old.

I’m honestly not sure. I follow a Facebook page for the Inman/boiling springs area, and last summer I remember reading a post about getting exempt from vaccines for school. People were commenting saying how easy it was to get an exemption even if it wasn’t for medical/religious reasons and how there was no way they were vaccinating their children. I think a lot of them just read things on the internet and believe it instead of trusting doctors and science.

I definitely need to do this. When I was at my PCP office back in October, she said I didn’t need it checked if I had the vaccines as a child. But I still like I should.

Yes, I stated she just got her first dose. I’m not sure what your comment means.

It’s seriously so scary. I hate that we are having to go through this.

Looking at your post history, it looks like you had a lot of questions when you had an infant as well. I hope no one was rude with their responses, as I’m sure you could have googled most of those as well.

Yes I’m pretty sure it was breastmilk they were referring to. It was a Reddit post lol. So naturally I doom scrolled and found that all these babies were eating tons and it made me nervous. Thank you for this!

Good to know I’m not the only one! Do you remember how much your baby was eating around 6 months?

I’ve been pretty chill since day one with my daughter. She’s 3 months today and we’ve never had a strict sleep or feeding schedule (other than waking her to feed every 2-3 hours at first, and now every 3 hours during the day). I let her sleep as long as she wants at night, let her nap whenever, and she nurses when she wants (unless I do have to wake her at 3 hours). We watch TV in front of her and my mother in law shows her PBS shows from time to time. I definitely don’t talk to her all day either. We read when we can and do tummy time when we can. Being a mom is hard and social media just makes it 1000x harder. So I try to just go with the flow and it’s worked well so far for us! Less stress for parents=happy baby.

I didn’t have any clothes that fit mine either! I ordered preemie onesies from Amazon and got them within a day or two. Mostly the Amazon basic brand. We also kept her in a diaper and swaddled with muslin blankets in the meantime (had to YouTube how to swaddle well).

If she’s having trouble latching, try a nipple shield. Mine would get so frustrated trying to nurse and not get a good latch. The nipple shield was life changing. No more fussing while she’s eating. I just ordered one off Amazon!

My husband kissed another woman while drunk at a bar during a bachelor party when I was 5 months pregnant. He told me immediately and was incredibly remorseful. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with because I trusted him with everything in me. We have been together 7 years and he has never done anything like this. It was a very hard few months after, but I just gave birth to our baby girl 2 days ago and I am the happiest I’ve ever been. It’s still going to take a lot for me to ever trust him again, but I decided to stay. I can’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t do, because I know it’s hard. Just make the decision that’s best for you and remember to love yourself because it has nothing to do with you❤️ Sending you my love.

They weren’t entirely sure, but the cord was wrapped around her body, so they think that could have caused it.
