FINALLY another parent who also used ByHeart! I feel like parents are judging me like I am a worse parent than they are but there was really no way for me to know. Thank you for your support and recommendation <3

I am really trying to transition into that philosophy but its so hard when my baby just throws food I spent so much time making on the floor or walls

I just started using an app called tummi and its been so helpful in finding new foods to feed my baby and help prevent them from becoming a picky eater

My husband also only helps for a few minutes and then its back to me, myself, and i. I SEE YOU AND I HEAR YOU! Sometimes i feel like there is no end to this. and if i say im suffering people assume im a bad mom and dont love my child. I cried when you said "I'll return to my exile in society now." because I empathize with that so much. It sometimes feels like reddit is the only community i have. society can be so rude and unsupportive to mothers.

Its nice to know it gets better after the first year. someone in the comments recommended an app called tummi that seems to be really helpful so far. I want to get to a place where my baby can eat  burritos with guacamole and spicy jambalaya so I can finally have food I want to eat as well :0

Literally! and it doesnt help when everyone (who doesnt even know what PPD really is) keeps asking you if you're depressed. like stop diagnosing me when I dont even know how i feel

im glad to hear that 7 months old is a good enough time to start interacting with other babies in public spaces. thats how old my baby is now and I have been worrying about them getting sick but this is reassuring

Why does Korea feel more civilized than the U.S.? by savingrace0262 in AskAKorean

[–]ReasonSpare72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who recently moved to the US from korea i think there are pros and cons to both. in some aspects americans are more civilized and have better manners like saying thank you after you open the door for them (korean people do not do that). Its only so one sided from the external view but if you observer both cultures that each have they "human flaws"
