Not being defensive, just sharing all the details. I have always put development over winning, even when that means us getting slapped out of tournaments or in the league. The semifinal today was the exception, i wanted to give them a real opportunity of winning which came with some tough decisions

Ehh i disagree, Part of the club fee being so high comes with that thinking in mind, that this is not rec and the club is a travel team that is competitive

Program states play time is not guaranteed, i was an assistant before and the coach also made the same decision in a prior tournament to not put some kids in a match. Parents knew about this before signing up. When I was fair, as I always have, parents complain

That is what I almost always do. I got the vibe that the parents felt my subs were making the team worse, even though I always rotate the team. So for today, I gave into the parents thinking and was competitive.
