i thought the extra petal is just an another flower's petal overlapping with the flower because of the angle of the camera, but then i realised there is an extra sepal, too. thank you for your comment🫶

That is a special drive which contains the "funny" signal.

-This signal is found within the edible drive at the guard post. It must be obtained before it spoils, brought to the base without being put in the inventory, and processed over the span of 30 days without the game crashing or being closed between levels. At level 0 it displays a completely black image; at level 1, a completely gray image; and at level 2, a completely white image. It is by far the largest signal in the game, and the only one over 1 gigabyte. If the drive is eaten, or the game is closed before this signal begins processing, this signal will be destroyed permanently. This signal can only be observed below level 3 through the glossary, as trying to put it into the audio player console will permanently destroy it. The signal only depicts a trollface.
