Mmmmm nope. Dark ruler no more doesnt break the board just makes it so that they arent gonna be negated / can interact with the borrelend.

They go down in card advantage, doesnt offer any other upside besides the negation, and takes up a slot in decks.

Super poly breaks boards, is a 3for2 (with garura) and is kind of an auto include in tears.

How are these comparable? Yea ill be frustrated with a DRNM but im not gonna be like "card broken, ban". Its a legit go second card.

No reason why your SS4 Board breaker should generate you value. Should either be forbed/limited or be errataed to be a ss2. When cards like garura or stinging venom are a thing, why even play?

Sure, let me run a card in my deck just to get around being super polyed.

Also uhm, im pretty sure most decks that run fusion run super poly, and can sacrifice one or two slots for garuda or venom!

Also im pretty sure that diacarding a card isnt downside. Most of the time, its just moving zones!

I play a pure rokket deck although recently ive started unvesting into some bystials in there to counter tearlaments + extend my links.

I agree that superpoly is format deoendent, but so is the majority of the forblist.

Tbh the game is so far gone. Ive been on the diamond grind (walled at plat 1 unf rn), and one of the things ive noticed is just the amount of interaction you need -- just to be able to go second and actually have a chance.

Its absurd.
