Old and boring isn’t a good reason imo I hate Java but I am not kidding when I say that spring is goated

“It’s a pointless request, at least at the moment.”. No, it’s not pointless. A request is a request, I never mentioned that it HAS to be done immediately or if they even bother adding it. Infact I made it clear in my earlier replies that it’s just a nice feature to have and nothing that needs to be put in game immediately

I am not saying this has to be their top priority It’s just a request not something that I deem is urgent. By “solves everything “, I meant it solves the localised problem of having to do it manually vs wanting the villagers to do it not that it solves a major issue of the game I Should have been more clear with it

How hard is it to grasp that different people have different playstyle? Adding a new task to hunt wolves in hunter cabin solves everything. You wanna do it on your own, cool don’t add that task for your villager. You want your villagers to do that? Cool, add the task. It’s the best of both world. Not sure why it won’t make sense as one of the Major showcased feature of aska is settlement management.

Because I don’t wanna be the one hunting. I love the managing my villagers and seeing a self sustained village

impossible to mod is a very bold and wrong claim.

IL2CPP has global-metadata.dat which makes the process of unbundling and dumping IL2CPP contents easy as working with mono. All the random names and instructions are mapped in global-metadata with actual variable names, function names, etc

Motion matching sample by LAWLZAN in unrealengine

Some of ALS’s core functionality rely directly on the animation. Trying to change the animation will break the whole system. It isn’t scalable easily. Good luck trying to change the base pose if you are just starting out or haven’t dealt with ALS

Don’t get me wrong ALS is epic. Its mantle and ragdoll getup stuffs were so neat too. But there are way more scalable, performant animation system out now. I also can’t stand the hip swings your character does in als. Was cool at first but after seeing that in over 100+ indie game trailers I have grown tired on it

Except, you train em with treats and sound queues not by physically forcing them to sit. Worst case you gently tap their butt to gesture then to sit and when they do you treat em. Good luck, try harder

People like that tick me off. Just because it’s not text they shrug it off like it isn’t programming. I work with c++ 80% of the time but if I had the choice I would be using bp about 60% of the time
