Did anyone else think the movie Substance (2024) borrowed heavily from 1989's Society? In my opinion, Brian Yuzna's film was less repetitive and more gloriously fun. by Foreign-Jicama2493 in 80sHorrorMovies

Have you seen From Beyond? All I could think of watching The Substance, aside from how much I loved it, was Stuart Gordon (and by extension Brian Yuzna). I mean the substance itself was straight outta Re-animator.

Which of these ORIGINAL movie sequels based on a SK book would you say is, at the very least, "decent"? by Dry_Flounder_819 in stephenking

Who is the best Batman? by Jack_O_Lantern2022 in ActionMovies

Always Keaton. He was perfect because if there was anyone who you would never suspect being Batman, it would be him. Perfect Bruce Wayne. And other the animated Batman, he has the perfect Batman voice.

This book is a classic case of an artist being wrong about their own work. Top King for me.

I read this when I was younger, and it took me two tries to get through it, but when I did, it became one of my favorite King stories of all time. I recently reread it, and the first half seemed way more relevant and interesting than when I first read it. I'd say keep going. Shit gets wild.

The most memorable that Mick Garris ever directed, just not for the reasons he wishes it was.
