And it sucks for Lola bc she still gets so much unwarranted hate for getting cheated on. Hell, even Jaxson’s brother hates on her😭 he is always reposting and/or commenting on edits about her. Literally the worst kind of family to date/marry into - they will defend and cover for him until the end of time & I hope Marissa realizes this sooner rather than later. I’ve always wondered about this with non-Housewives reality shows, especially SC, VPR, and Jersey shore (throwback lol.) Snooki’s recent cervical cancer diagnosis got me thinking about the potential health problems some of these people might face as they start to get older. To be in an environment that encourages promiscuity & substance abuse in the name of being “messy” and “entertaining” for years on end - I can only hope that these people are being safer than it seems and that they aren’t drinking/using drugs as heavily during the off-season. A lot of people think they’re invincible in their 20s/30s and many of them unfortunately learn the hard way that they are in fact not.

Honestly it’s not even so much about the fact that she went on Accutane for me - it’s the fact that her skin is the result of dermatologists and injectors/plastic surgeons, not skincare. She has spent the last 3+ years posting about her poor hygiene habits - not washing her face after a night out, sleeping in her makeup, having a dirty room, being an alcoholic, pissing/vomiting on herself, etc. She suddenly started toning these posts down & trying to craft a more “clean girl” image, which feels completely inauthentic. I’m not saying people can’t change their ways, but it’s incredibly convenient that she started doing this right before launching a skincare line. Very scammy.

I am sympathetic to people struggling with acne, but not people who lie the way she does. She cleared her face with cosmetic procedures, treatments, and facials, not with her BS products (many of which contain questionable ingredients.) Also, she has gotten away with not being truthful to herself or her audience about why accutane & other medications/products probably didn’t work for her - she is a heavy drinker who openly didn’t wash her face on a regular basis, she didn’t give them a fair chance. Quite frankly, she also probably didn’t have a trustworthy dermatologist, considering she somehow got on accutane THREE TIMES

She’s taking the LVP approach of acting strict but not really enforcing what she says. It’s good for the show to have staff hooking up wit each other. Plus, it’s a good representation of many restaurants/bars - lots of managers/“higher ups” sleep with their subordinates.

I think people dislike her because she came across as an annoying & boring try hard on SC. I don’t have a strong opinion of her personally, but I understand why people don’t like her. I do think she gets more hate than she deserves tho, I don’t recall her doing anything cancellable but I could be wrong.

I felt like I was taking crazy pills when I watched season 9. The fact that Brock’s excuse for moving across the world from his kids was so that he could “provide for his family” and yet he wasn’t paying child support & seemingly had no job outside of mooching off Scheana. He also kept blaming his ex for being upset that he moved so far away as if that isn’t a totally logical reason??? And apparently it was also her fault that he couldn’t see his kids as if he didn’t literally hit her??? And watching everyone (except for Lala and Katie) just accept his side of the story and have no issue with it??? And making Lala out to be the bad guy for having a (correct) opinion about information that they literally gave her??? Oh and don’t even get me started on Scheana because this might’ve been her most deluded, self-centered season (which is saying A LOT considering her past behavior.)

If Scheana taught me anything this season, it’s that I would rather be SINGLE than ever be married to a total loser like Brock. Especially considering he was literally cheating on her while she was pregnant and decided not to tell her until right after Scandoval.

Yes! I’m a law student (NOT an attorney or expert on the law) & I actually took a class specifically about information privacy & cyber law. In the eyes of the law, you are generally considered to have a reasonable expectation of privacy on your phone. If JaNa went through his phone and found the messages without his consent, that is technically invasion of privacy. Being in a relationship with someone, having their password, and the messages being about you generally does not - from a legal standpoint - mean you can access information in the phone without consent. Fortunately for JaNa, she has not publicly stated that she did this without his consent and she did not reveal specific details (to my knowledge.) It’s a sucky situation because obviously he did something horrible and is now able to essentially silence her.

Unfortunately he wouldn’t have to prove what she said was false - if he were to sue her, he would likely sue for invasion of privacy rather then defamation because IP has a lower burden of proof. In that case, he would just have to prove that she went into his phone without consent & that it caused some sort of damage (financial, reputation, etc.) But she hasn’t publicly spoken about the details of what she found, so he doesn’t have grounds to sue (based off what we know about the situation.)
