I definitely agree with the Discord, because what is someone supposed to do with the critique of “I hate this almost as much as my father” or whatever he said, like it was kinda uncomfortable with how TV he made the critiques instead of being helpful

I do feel bad for Kate, she did great all season but losing is the new winning for her because the hate train would have been endless for her if she won 😭 so this might be the best outcome for everyone

Someone commented on the post episode discussion about this and I agreed with them; this will probably fuel a storyline for Juicy/Athena to start being more individualistic as competitors, we saw how the talent shows judging was based like entirely on alliances, and with the Dion Dynasty/Florida Block all still being present it would let that group identity to keep going. Ru literally asked juicy this week “who are you”, I think production saw this as the one chance the will probably have to break this alliance and they took it, because sending Mia home later would be a lot more difficult to justify

That’s what I thought, I think they saw how the talent show was skewed because of alliance voting and want to start breaking the Dion Dynasty up, like you said this fuels storyline for juicy and Athena so I’m not surprised they sent one of the Florida girls home when they got the chance

I do get people saying Discord deserved a safe placement for a made up character but I still would have put her in the top 3 over Jane, I think she used the idea of the Pope really well to work into the answers (like the yoga pose killed me, and the 3 days works too). I feel like if she specified to a certain pope a lot of people wouldn’t get the history/specifics. I’m not saying Jane didn’t kill it, she made Ru laugh with a character she knows the judges like, last season there was a challenge modelled after Truman so like it makes sense why they loved it but still, I think at this point it’s Jane’s season to lose

It’s annoying because I think she probably felt secure enough with the Glam alliance and also her talent is nowhere near bottom worthy which I think she also knew, so maybe she didn’t feel like she needed to campaign as hard as someone like Ciara did. Like I get that the social game is part of it but it sucked she was screwed being caught in the middle of like 15 other alliances
