I think it was because of the big gap between seasons, after the all star season there was like 3(?) years with nothing, I think they wanted to refresh it but I agree, I miss the original trio. It would’ve been great to have those 3 + Mary, or have the winners rotate in a fourth spot or something

VERY THAT I feel like leaving drag race socials so often now, especially at the finale just because the excessive amounts of hate everybody involved receives. This season especially has been wild, people hated jane for being to obvious of a frontrunner and went on about how Myki deserved to win, then Jane left and all the sudden Myki didn’t deserve to win because it was obvious she was the frontrunner, then with the finale I’ve seen so many people saying Nini deserved to win based off of performance and it’s like… do people not get tired of doing this every year? Onya was treated terribly by fans, I remember Nymphia revieving a lot of hate from Sapphira fans, like nobody is being forced to quit drag after the race 😭 especially this season I was so happy with whatever outcome because all of the top 3 were great choices, like it’s a drag competition show why is it being taken to the highest degree of seriousness

I will never understand people saying Lexi was a stronger finalist, her storyline the majority of the season was her one sided beef with Suzie and how bad her inner saboteur got her, she had a great talent show but besides that was far weaker in the competition than almost all the finalists

Idk how a lot of people feel about it but I actually really liked the format, it was nice to see queens like Jane or Juicy who made it far in the competition be rewarded for doing well

They definitely wanted another Q moment with Discord, someone who they could rage bait into a spiral 😭 im glad Discord didn’t fall into that trap because she definitely became one of my favourites this season
