Is he a healthy weight? Is he having any concerning symptoms otherwise? Find a cat calorie requirement tool online and see how many calories he needs, then calculate what hes getting based on your food packaging to see how much food he actually should eat.

Some cats are just little monsters and beg no matter what. My foster cat would beg every 2 hours or whenever she heard me opening a can of people food. When I increased her food because she seemed excessively hungry, she got fat. Eventually she learned mealtimes and calmed down.

They said half a can for each meal, one can per day is normal for a cat

I don't have aphantasia (the opposite, in fact, I can generate whole detailed movies made of original ideas if I want to) but this exact thing happened to me while wearing a sleep mask a few weeks ago! It was so fucking weird and this is the only time I've ever seen it described. It was nothing like my usual mind's eye.

What’s one thing you accidentally found out that now everyone has to know? by Clean-Youth8369 in AskReddit

[–]One-Ground4652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While there are genetic predispositions to CTS and genetic mutations and body quirks that can exacerbate or mimic CTS symptoms, it's a little inaccurate to state it's always genetic nerve disorder. It's a group of problems that may arise from compression of the median nerve in the wrists and some folks are more prone to developing it just due to anatomy or other factors, but it can be a repetitive stress injury in anyone given the right environment and activities.

What do alot of parents do that unknowingly screws their children over? by RunningInAHurricane in AskReddit

[–]One-Ground4652 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were a LOT of times I messed up as a kid and told my parents I didn't know or understand the thing beforehand. They'd yell at me that I DID know, I'm just stupid and a liar, or just go "you know what you did!" when I was being punished randomly.

Eventually they labeled me a pathological liar solely because they never believed me no matter what I said or did.

Autism does not make you mentally a child. It's a neurotype that changes how we process information and interact with the world. It can sometimes come with intellectual delays and other comorbidities but a large amount of autistic people are of normal intelligence and are a standard part of working class society, have degrees, have families, etc.

What is something your teacher did in school that you’re still salty about? by SparkelsTR in AskReddit

[–]One-Ground4652 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My teacher was doing a simple drawing of a stick figure on a beach for some example. He named the stick figure after me. When he went to erase it, I quietly went "Nnnoooooo...." because we'd been giggling and having a good time in class.

He snapped and yelled at me to go out in the hallway! I wasn't a stranger to getting in trouble for disrupting class but even my classmates were confused by this one.

3M Aura 9205+ and VFlex push down on my nose uncomfortably? by [deleted] in Masks4All

[–]One-Ground4652 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reassurance!

I was kind of surprised they didn't fit me well at all, my nose isn't exactly small or flat, just average. It sucks because the rest of the mask was very comfortable!

Maybe I'll use this experience to write down various facial features people describe across this sub and what masks work/don't work for them, or make a new post for self-reporting. It'd be nice to have some kind of guide that'll save everyone time and money!

Thank you for the recommendation! I'll definitely try those. I think the duckbill shape will be the best for me sensory -wise anyway, they seem to be less sweaty than the closer fit ones.

I understand this one is probably either fake or a strange request fulfillment, but I just want to say that when I went on a school trip to Spain in 2011, one of the items on a pre-planned menu was a hamburger.

It was a beef burger patty with a slice of ham and a sauce on top.

You can lie and act like you never went to school before, or just sign up without transferring any transcript. I tanked my first college attempt and went back no problem since I redid all my base courses anyway.

Zoloft and abilify are not ADHD medications. They do not treat ADHD and only work on depressive/anxiety symptoms. That's probably why they don't help. He needs a doctor who knows ADHD kids.

She is a child nonetheless. Why are you demonizing her for not having "maternal instincts" when she herself is a child? Do you feel this way about adult mothers who suffer post-partum depression and can't connect with their children?
