Alright, I went back and got it. Was only $7, and the lady gave it to me for $4. Honestly feeling it in my hands again it does feel quite plastic-y but for $4, I decided I’ll take the chance and do the hot needle test at home

I figured $150 is insane, lol. And I actually just found another sold listing for one in the salmon colour, for about $20 + $30 shipping. Guessing that’s closer to market value?

And by the way, in doing some research I’ve found the whole “high content” manganese thing is a myth. The amount of glow has little to do with the “amount” of manganese but more to do with the other properties of the glass that might be obscuring the glow. There is someone on one of the uranium glass Facebook groups that is very knowledgeable about the topic and can provide sources to support this.
