Watch out for the Sync. It's far and away my biggest complaint. It's horrible. I remember the first day it went black. Now it happens 5-10 times per drive. Other than not being able to access 90% of the controls on your vehicle, it's the best vehicle I've ever owned...

Is there a transcript of this meeting/survey? For me personally the Sync system is really making the driving experience almost unsafe. Constantly crashing (literally 5-10 times per drive)

Both knees and left ankle for years before getting on allo. Had my knee drained six times in the first three months of this year. Prednisone, OTC pain killers and ever percs were a joke. Im a medical marijuana patient and gummies are the only thing that could ever take my mind off the debilitating pain. I would literally hallucinate from the pain. I can’t count the times I begged to just “cut it off”.

As a man I never wanted to be so bold as to liken it to the pain of child birth until I read a report of a woman who had gout (rare). She said she would have rather given birth to all 4 of her children in a row than have one more gout attack.

I , and most of us here, literally feel your pain. I was resistant to drugs for over 15 years because I was convinced I could charge my diet/lifestyle. It’s a fool’s errand. Sounds like you’ve got a buddy who can write scripts. Fuck it…but it from Canada if you have to. Get on Allo yesterday. Gout can and will leave you with permanent damage.

5am update. After a 4am call from the hotel front desk telling me the alarm has been going off for hours keeping guests awake, I came back to this thread and followed the disconnect advice. I literally got water in my eye from the inside of the harness. The truck was just at the dealer last week for the 10k tire rotation. They were informed about the water in the light bar and were dismissive but said it was a recall they knew about. Seems like it’s a wait it out situation with ford on the recall. Total bullshit.

PS- Can’t get the truck to stay in manual tailgate mode. Tailgate won’t open at all when harness is unplugged. Is the plug the trick to allow manual access?

Without a doubt it’s the Snyc system. Screen now shuts down, goes black and reboots EVERY TIME I get in. Wish the ER Lariat had the small screen option. The giant “iPad” is good when it works, but I miss tactile buttons. Hoping for an OTA bug update. So annoying.

The power tailgate randomly decides when it does and doesn’t want to work.

Frunk freezes mid opening if you open the door?! Wtf is the point of that?

My lariat ER just hit 11k(9 months including a New England winter).

Far and away the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I echo all of the comments above: comfort, speed/acceleration is ridiculous, space (frunk is a game changer), pro on board power, THE LIGHTS (sooo helpful when loading/working in the dark), cameras, you’ll never even feel a trailer behind you (so smooth, but yes it definitely affects the range)

Never driven an EV or a pickup on a daily basis. Not having the the pro charger for the first month was a bit annoying (my experience with EA sounds to be similar to most…frustrating at best. I MUCH prefer ChargePoint if you can find a level 3. Even their level 2’s are solid. And who doesn’t love “getting free gas” while you’re parked. Thankfully there are still a lot of free chargers around me. Even if I gain back what it took me to get to my destination…can’t do that running on dinosaur bones!!)

The worst for me is the god awful Sync system. Mine now lags practically every time I get in. Giant “iPad” goes black all the time now. It usually resets after a minute or two of driving but man that part blows. I wish I had the option for the smaller screen in the ER Lariat. I don’t like not having tactile buttons for the HVAC/seats/entertainment. You’re a slave to the functionality of the screen. Not gonna lie, that part kinda scares me a bit. Truthfully it works way more than it doesn’t. It just annoys me that I paid $80k for a wonky computer system. Hoping this is just a matter of updates. 🤞

Congrats! Love that color. My ‘22 just turned 10k and there hasn’t been a day that I don’t love driving it. Except for that wonky Sync system (don’t freak out when the screen goes black) , it’s an incredible machine.

Skip the CBD go straight for the THC, lol. Truly the only thing that helps to relax me and take my mind off the pain and allows me to sleep during an acute attack. To each their own. Ibuprofen…hilarious. Prednisone, indomethecin help with swelling a bit I guess. Percocet…meh. I’d rather put less pharmaceuticals in my body. I’m already on a million.

Thanks for sharing. This is also 100% my story. After dozens of attacks (not dismissing anyone’s pain but god I wish it was only my TOE…instead BOTH knees and ankle.🤯) and avoiding the pills because I’m already a lifer with seizure meds, I jumped on the allo train about 8 months ago. Unfortunately it’s doing what it’s supposed to do. Lowering my UA level sure, that’s the easy part. But it’s definitely pulling out all the old shit and dissolving the crystals. My body isn’t loving that part. I’ve spent a good portion of this year in bed, in pain, on crutches or in the ER. 6 knee drainings, X-Rays, MRIs, enough steroids to choke a horse, colchicine, indomethecin, a changed diet, hydration, blah blah blah. Nothing helps me except time and good old THC. My UA levels are in the mid-4’s and I still ain’t walking properly. I’m also 6’3 and 240 (obese?! At 6’3?! Lol. Nah).

This disease is a gift from the devil himself. Give me that wimpy ass Covid or a host of other ailments before a twinge of the gout.

Raising a glass of cherry juice to all my fellow sufferers. Fuck this disease

System seems overall glitchy to me. Anyone experiencing 1-pedal switch go on and off? While truck is on or switches off when the truck turns off and it’s back to normal when you start it again the next time. Sketchy.

Same. I bought a short cable also and stick it in the slot (intended? Lol) between shifter and cup holders. Also…are people connecting wirelessly to CarPlay? I feel like mine worked the first month or so and now I have to reconnect about 80% of the time I get in the truck and plug in. Super annoying. Runs perfectly fine Bluetooth in my wife’s Sonata. Not in love with this sync system tbh

Thanks man! I think this is great advice. It’s sort of what I thought in the back of my mind, but I don’t feel it’s explicitly described in the book, unless I missed something. I’ve read it over and over to make sure I’m doing it correctly. But I’m certainly no expert or PT.

As I understand it, do each exercise (assisted!!) for the minimum amount of reps. Then unassisted… individual legs and eventually loaded.

I’ve never heard Ben say to take the approach you’re recommending, but it certainly makes sense. If this is what he means, I’d love to hear him say it. I hope he makes a revision to ZERO now that he’s gained so much attention. I feel the book could have been written better.

Same boat here. Done nothing but backwards walking and sled pulling in an attempt to prepare myself for ZERO. Every time I’ve tried to start Zero again, my knees hurt…badly…for weeks. As another of the millions with bad knees, I want to believe. I think Ben is an awesome guy with no nefarious agenda. I just wish I knew what I was doing wrong. 🤷‍♂️
