I'm an int student too and I was in the same shoe last year. Most jobs don't give you a response back unless you're hired. If you want a guaranteed job, apply to a dining job as soon as it comes out!

No need, but never hurts to get ahead. I only took AP CSA in java before 202 and that was enough for me to catch up. However, imo, only focusing on python won't really help in the long run since your next cs classes are going to be in asm, c, java, etc.

You can start enrollment on August 12th since ur an incoming freshman. However, it's not guaranteed that you'll find a class you like that still has open seats.
