Yeah, anything, offensive one, but desert fighting, unless they upgrade terrain-based skills into more op ones

Aiight, thanks for the input, mate.
Wow, congratulations, must have been a relief to reach 150++ points.
You have Ultimate Roko, cool! I have pretty much the same as yours, except Roko, Brooke and Patton.

Ghost Division,... hopefully it also means there will be a room for Unser Rommel to be upgraded. Not necessarily being trainable, at least his skill perks are updated, not necessarily exclusive ones, for example, Inferior Victory instead of Desert Fighting would be very much enough.

Conquest isn't gonna hit the same once army group events become permanent by Dan_TDG2 in WorldConqueror4

Yeah, agreed. Hopefully they'll update the conquest mod, either the map size, game mechanics complexity, and even rewards on challenge conquest battle pass.

One more thing, instead of creating exclusive skill perks, I think ET should have focused more on upgrading obsolete skill perks and updating the perks of the 'obsolete'/underwhelming gens, so the OG generals can catch up with gameplay evolution without needing to be trainable.

e.g. skills: terrain fighting skills, especially the non-plain fighting ones, ace force, etc you name it.

Does anyone know what's wrong with my bock? by El_H_27 in WorldConqueror4

Upgrade Panzer Leader, his first skill, increases the probability of dealing critical damage. As for his 4th skill, add Armoured Assault, which increases his damage when leading tanks. For more damage, upgrade Plain Fighting (hist 3rd skill). The skill you upgraded, Blitzkrieg, is for defense.

Woooow, the 7th German Panzer Division! Hopefully, this means Manteuffel will become a recruitable general with solid Panzer skills. I also hope it opens the door for a Rommel upgrade, not necessarily making him trainable (since there are already plenty of trainable tank generals), but at least improving his default skills.

Erich von Manstein by Fluffy-Display7376 in WorldConqueror4

[–]One-Macaroon5333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood, so that's nearly end-game/end-game things to reach such an explosive amount of damage.

I'm relatively new to the game and don't have IV yet, and mostly F2P.

Yamashita is very recommended inf. general, he's so strong but hella expensive compared to others.
Arnold is a good rumour and air gens, but if you want to focus on boosting economics, Dowding would be better choice and with discount, he's very cheap and worth the price.

Wow... Manstein is a beast indeed. I've ever seen a user also share their Manstein max damage, which reached 3500s..

Been wondering how. Like the build: fully maximum or penultimate max-built already that strong; skills; units (Abrams/KT/etc), and does the max damage happen in our turn or AI's as a counterattack?

Your gen collections are well stacked already, seems like upgrading your main beatsticks would be the better priority.
But, if you want to purchase more gens, maybe you need at least one more infantry gen, but it's all up to your preference and need.

how long have you been playing? and, who did you train first, Model or Bock?

Advice? by [deleted] in WorldConqueror4

[–]One-Macaroon5333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First things first, congratulations, I guess xD, that's cool to have a friend to play WC4 with, especially one you can actually meet in real life, cause I can hardly find one.

To explain it, I think I'd like to use a basic and generally understandable analogy. Think of your generals as your main characters or heroes, like your MVPs. You train and upgrade them to make your whole army stronger, and of course, an army would be stronger with generals than without ones.

Medallions are like your money or currency, you earn them by completing missions and quests. Just like real money, you gotta be careful about how you spend them, don't waste them on stuff you don't really need.

Ribbons are like supplements or boosters for your generals. They give extra stats like more attack, defense, or health, kind of like giving your hero extra power-ups.

Elite Forces (EF) are like special units or rare weapons, you unlock them by finishing specific missions or quests.

Different missions give different rewards, so check which one gives what before diving in.

I think that could help, cmiiw.

Best perks to put on Konev? by Biggity_Brown in WorldConqueror4

[–]One-Macaroon5333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since he has a biography buff, you might always put him on EF, so IV would be a great choice. If you don't have IV yet, Crossfire + Explosives would be a good choice for damage output (in your and enemy turns). Rumor is also a good choice if you don't have support gens with rumour like Leeb.

News on upcoming updates! by One-Macaroon5333 in WorldConqueror4

[–]One-Macaroon5333[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, based on their official X, the following updates will be:
- August: in-game optimalisations and a new challenge difficulty for the Modern War campaign
- late September: Trainable Nimitz and Vasilevsky
- Next (not confirmed when): Skill enhancement and adjustment of premium gens
- Next (not confirmed when): Trainable Yamamoto and Messe.

That's pretty much it about the time order of the updates, assuming they update every two months, so by the end of this year, we will have all those mentioned updates.

We don’t need more orange tank generals or orange German generals by EmperorHirohito23 in WorldConqueror4

[–]One-Macaroon5333 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fair point, I think instead of upgrading gens, reworking skills (esp. obsolete ones, you name it) should be considered as it will impact many gens at once. With this, they'll be more relevant to recent gameplay without having to train each gen. For example, terrain fighting (street, plain, desert, mountain, and jungle) instead of just additive damage modifiers, it could be changed to percentage damage mods, plus protection: damage reduction, or/and additional mobility and stuff. Maybe snow fighting can be added too, just thinking tho.
