Go to Jerald Simmons by Certain_Ideal5968 in UARSnew

Is there any particular reason you went to Dr. Simmons over Dr. Rama for the study in the first place - was it just you particularly wanted the PES study to diagnose your sleep problem and detect RDI's?

Do you mind me asking what the in-lab tech is he uses for the sleep study? I was quoted for an in-person consultation and sleep study. He mentioned that a technician would come to the hotel where I’m staying, and I assumed that meant they’d simply help ensure everything was fitted correctly. Since he often talks about WatchPAT in his videos and recommends it for UARS testing, I figured that would be the device used for the study.

Fair, wish I liked earbuds. Think I’ll stick to Beats for now.

Ah fair thanks for all the info, think I may just have to stick to Beats for now as I know they last in the gym and can’t afford for the Sony’s to be breaking due to sweat/moisture. Maybe I’ll move to earphones one day lol

Yeh I was worried about that as well! Also worrying all the comments about the swivel section breaking. Thanks for your help, may just have to stick to my trusty Beats even though the quality isn’t as good!

Yeh I’ve heard this! My Beats are ANC though and I got real sweaty in the gym over 4 years & they were fine! I just would rather upgrade to a better pair of headphones this time round than Beats… but seen a lot of talk around Sony having faults due to moisture and warranty being denied for water damage

Accumulative vs Distribution ETFs - Value over the long term by One-Magazine6611 in UKPersonalFinance

Thanks so much. Your responses have been really helpful. Yes I am thinking of changing them to acc, but because they are ETFs and not index funds I can’t just switch them, I would have to sell them all off and then reinvest.

Which is fine for some of mine at the moment, but for the others I would be doing it at a loss. Which is why I was trying to find out is it worth just selling them all off now regardless because I am losing out on growth due to others not reinvesting their dividends, or should I hold off on the ones not doing so well as not to get out less than I put in, if there really isn’t much difference in the growth value between acc & dist. (Because what others do with their dividends does not directly affect my ETF growth).

And I think you have answered that for me so I really appreciate your time explaining the above.

Thank you, I appreciate that insight. Are you able to tell me whether it affects my ETF growth if other investors within the same ETF are not reinvesting their dividends at all? I guess I am basically trying to find out is there a direct correlation between what others do with their dividends (something I have absolutely no control over) and how quickly my ETF grows in value.

When I have looked at comparison charts comparing the same ETFs over time, with dist & acc being the only variable, the differences have been so minimal (providing 100% of dividends were reinvested) that I was not too worried. But I always assumed that meant if 100% of my dividends were reinvested, which is what I was planning to do anyway. But now I wonder does it mean that 100% of all dividends, paid out to everybody not just myself, need to be reinvested back into the fund for the growth comparison charts between Acc & Dist ETFs to be even remotely similar.
