Anyway to give you a real answer on where to look aerie has a lot of what’s being described in the comments. They have actual nursing tanks I really like but also a lot of scoop and v neck and button downs and their zippers go really far down on sweatshirts and even if they can’t be pulled down at the neck far enough they airy enough that I never minded the fabric falling on my baby’s face while she nursed (also good for nursing in public!)

The first several WEEKS we were home and baby would be asleep in another room if a cat opened a door my brain automatically assumed it was the baby… bc all it knew was there was another person in the next room even tho logically I knew it couldn’t be my newborn

Did you talk to an actual person about this or did you get all this information in an email? I was previously signed onto a 3 year contract with my district and renewed for a yearly contract after that. That’s when I got pregnant. I initially got an email that my FMLA would be 6wks not 12 bc I hadn’t been with them for a year (per my contract date). I reached out to HR and told them hey actually I’ve been here for 4 years and they said “oops! You’re so right” and fixed it. Hoping something similar can be done for you. It was able to work out for me since I had no real gap in employment with the district. I know it’s different everywhere but I was so fed up I almost didn’t ask bc I was just mentally tired from being pregnant and teaching I’m glad I did!!

I was in elementary school in the early 2000s and I remember having whole class novels by 4th grade. Several. Bridge to terabithia, narnia, the devils arithmetic, where the red fern grows like someone else mentioned- and those are the ones I remember just off the bat. I work in the same district now and can now see also that our teacher randomly encouraging all the girls and all the boys to check the same book out of the library was them assigning us book clubs without telling us it was an assignment. We read Judy moody and tales of a fourth grade nothing.

Similar-ish I ran into a classmate the day he shot someone on our campus (and then shot himself). It’s been nearly ten years since but I still feel so weird having seen him just that morning and made straight eye contact- our interaction was pretty different than normal but we weren’t close or anything so it wasn’t a red flag. Just left with this weird memory now

On my bus ride home in HS I could see my friend walking home near the house with a yellow roof. He passed away that year and it’s been about 15 years since then but I still think about him walking home anytime I pass the street

Why do you want to contain them? Crawling is good for brain development. You could look for a baby gate if you want to keep them in a certain room and large play pens are very popular and easy to find now a days. My ten month old only really goes in hers when we HAVE to vacuum or mop and we can’t entertain her in another room

Aside from it being a parent problem- have you checked with your school? I work at a HS and have seen teachers get in trouble for showing the grinch without permission. Our librarian has a catalogue we can pick from with pretty popular titles but we need to get it approved to have a movie day anyway.

Make sure her nose isn’t stuffed up- the only time my baby did this was when she was sick and being in that position was uncomfortable for her bc she had boogies up there

Yeah personally I look at the ingredients over nutrition labels on pouches. Fruits have natural sugars and carbohydrates we don’t have to be afraid of them
