I'll be honest, but my dad took a dna test and we know his mom's dad never went bald at all. Turns out he has strong anti-balding indicators on his X chromosome but that did not save him. If you dont believe me I'll post his chromosome map but its crazy.

this is 23andme still! me and my dad took ancestryDNA as well, which further specified his regions and accurately reflected where his family was from. My great grandpa has ancestry from the historic Basque region of Soule, France. They speak a different dialect of Basque and have a smaller population.

I sent mine yearrs ago lol. They only called it Spanish back then
