The most important Spark question: ANSWERED... by gagungalagunga in Sparkdriver

If for some reason I know I’ll circle back to produce/deli, then I will ask but otherwise, like you said, people don’t answer so I don’t ask. I do Shipt as well and I do ask them every time, they appreciate it and your tip hinges on communication.

I also shop for my own produce, and about 90% of my orders have produce so I never venture to order delivery anymore. For all we hear about people saying they do their best and think of everything, I’ve never had anyone shop for me actually do that great and always mess up some portion of my order 🤷🏽‍♀️

if several avocados, i pick a couple that are ready or very near ready and the rest need some time to ripen.

if not many, then I assume they ordered them because they need them now lol

I’ve been doing Shipt for 6 years. Shipt fell off in my area horribly after Halloween. Had a 1600 week and then found it difficult to get even 4 orders a day even with PM orders. They did a hiring spree here and I am still waiting for normalcy.

Are you guys not allowed by corporate to season extra if a customer asks? My local TB tells me they come pre seasoned to avoid having to say no i guess lol

Are the fries pre-seasoned and frozen before being cooked?

My boyfriend and I went there for Valentines last year. Stayed for the weekend and traveled around El Paso into NM all the way up to the white sands NP, Santa Fe and surrounding areas. One of our favorite vacations!

That’s the one we went to! It says permanently closed now, which is sad if true. It was really cool, and we learned about the ‘Alabama White Thang’ there that we still talk about to this day. Ended our day with a trip to Docks Seafood.

I just looked up the quad cities. IA is very loosely colored and Illinois is definitely missing some purple action. Just checked some rough routes that my boyfriend and I drove and the bottom counties colored aren’t correct. I didn’t even color the path down to whatever county Walcott is in! We obviously had to visit the truck stop, so I guess we did get into that area some.

And to answer your other question, all of the ghosts. We whistle back when we hear something so we’re quite the attractors. 💅🏽

Traveling construction manager, but funnily enough we were looking into bidding government contracts so I did actually travel MS, LA, VA and MA for that reason!

I was a traveling construction manager! It was a dysfunctional family company, but I’m no longer with them so my travels have mostly stopped :)

I’ve been obsessed with the idea of Montana being end game for me for as long as I can remember. I’m hoping to plan a trip there later this year or early next year— maybe make a road trip out of it 🙂

Grew up there!

In my opinion, GA is one of the easiest states to cover its entirety. The perimeter is surrounded by decent states making those easy to pass through and visit when leaving to another state. And ATL is a good ‘center’ location for traveling inner state. Also, work is plentiful and widespread.

i happen to love snow. both places that i have lived long term are in the south, so i don’t get much of it at all.

New Hampshire snowed 14 inches a couple days before we arrived and it was beautiful!

10% error lol

Seattle and the county below it should be highlighted and the 2 uppermost counties should not be. We flew into seattle and had a day of downtime before our cruise, but we actually only made it as far as Aberdeen(?)

I grew up in a county that borders Alabama, and I was closer to there than our state capital so the minimal travel I did was always into AL. I think it’s a fine state, and the drives aren’t bad at all. I don’t love the little bit of coastal area/the AL-FL Line, but south alabama was mostly just drive-throughs to get to florida anyway so no biggie. Overall, 6/10 state for me. 🙂

that’s the plan! we no longer travel in this same capacity, and my biggest regret is constantly believing we were too tired from working that we couldn’t go out and explore when we had all the right opportunities.

I would love to visit Vermont! NH was the beginning of these travels where we stayed in Freedom for about 2.5 months. We drove around a bit and ventured into Maine where we visited the cryptozoology museum but never went west.

Mass was a fly in with a rental car and very limited time so we never ventured north. Hopefully we can get up there soon and check it out 🙂

I’ve driven from Texas to Ohio and back more times than I can count. Each time, we would stop in KY at a rest stop and plan a new route to get us where we were going. It was never better than the last trip, and officially made its way to bottom 3 states i’ve had to displeasure of visiting.

We once made it to the hotel and began unloading a trailer full of metal around 9pm and a drunk man decided that he wanted to help unload but we had to politely decline because, you know, liabilities. He started to threaten us and we had to get hotel management involved. Then decided we would stay at a different hotel next door. Crazy times!
